honestly this reminds me so much of me when I was little I had so many stuffed animals and they all had names and backstories. I can actually relate to her a lot saying that she feels a maternal type Instinct towards them. She sounds like a really nice girl I don't think that this is too weird honestly

This all seemed like a made up story just to get an interview but thats just me

I have an addiction of my own to my stuffed animals. I have about 500 now, I surround myself with them and use them to cope with my chronic pain I've had since I was 9. The stuffed animals make me feel like I still have the childhood I missed from being in and out of hospitals, every time I go to the hospital now I try and get myself a new stuffie. I have names for all of them, and I used to recite a prayer when I was younger to them. I have a friend in another country I sent one of my babies to, it was a big thing for me and it showed all the trust I have in him. 

I actually have a little stuffed puppy that my dad gave me when I was five. I don't sleep with it but I'd never throw it away.

I don't see getting rid of any of them as a necessary action, more so working towards getting to the point where the stuffed animals can be seen less as "children" and simply stuffed animals that are important to you. I personally think that it is very nice that you found a way to cope with the very unfortunate and traumatic experience you went through in high school. However, I feel like to a certain extent they maybe hold you back from living your life to its full potential. Because like you said, you are in a committed relationship now and to me it seems like they have become more and more of a crutch for you to lean on when you could maybe work towards trying to talk to and confide in your boyfriend (more than you already do) or even your family. Obviously I am no expert that is simply my insight into the matter. I appreciate and respect you being willing to discuss what happened. Thank you.

Honestly hearing this, i realize i might have that too with my girlfriend. never realized it was something so out of the ordinary but we do send snapchats everyday and take care of them

Gosh she's a strong woman. I can tell she has become a strong and fierce young lady.
