Techno titan Amelie Lens welcomes promising newcomer Jastice to the second Exhale Records compilation, featuring the best and brightest of new talent in the scene. Jastice presents an energetic ravey cut that weaves between faded synths and a softened vocal, accompanied by an entrancing interlude with "Hey You." Jastice is right at home amongst other names such as 999999999 and Kontain.

Jastice is on the precipice of the sound which is defining techno for a whole new generation ready to smash dance floors across the world. With a family who celebrated 90s rave culture in Germany, it‘s hardly a surprise that fast and rhythmic beats are coursing through her veins since childhood. With high tempo and overpowering kicks, she is building the foundation for her music and becoming a staple of high-energy techno sets. Using a soulful blend between airy vocals, precisely selected rhythms and meticulously crafted soundscapes, Jastice manages to breathe life into a track and, at the same time, create driving peak-time missiles. Clearly big names such as Amelie Lens have taken notice.

Four nostalgically extensive, original mixes, capturing a moment from the perspective of both an artist and a wholly committed music fan - No Reason To Be Disturbed showcases the very best of producer David LaFhionntain’s work in the intense and euphoric techno realm.

As an introduction, the title-track, 'No Reason To Be Disturbed', builds up with presence, power and pace – rising from the bare essentials towards the distorted synth appeal of a heavy and hypnotic drop. Weave in a select few vocal fragments and details to further this evolution, and the completed post-six-minute journey refuses to loosen its grip throughout.

‘Future Tears’ follows and there’s warmth and bass-thick reverberation intertwined with echoes of distant melody – a sudden grip of intention, as opposed to the more subtle incline from minimalism to vastness that was the opener. Here we venture into a highly emotional, even haunting arena of energy and sound – a rising and falling, wave-like wash of melancholy and uncertainty. This back and forth continues to hold the listener tightly, the disconcerting layers ultimately multiplying, yet always with the consistency of those recognisable threads of identity.

Softening the blow somewhat is the unmistakable historical context and relentless rhythm of ‘Ravey Days on Mondays’, complete with its briefly cut and compiled intricacies of nineties dance and voice and movement. There’s optimism here, euphoria and sheer joy as the memories and connections come pouring through.

‘H-Core’ brings things to an intriguing finish, maintaining the essential building blocks of tempo and production character, injecting new hits though – of voice, purpose, effect and growing anticipation. The progression is quite fascinating, all at once unpredictable and satisfying as it makes its way through a humble yet compelling five minutes. The echo chamber embraces then swallows the listener entirely, the peak of an implied nitrous hit as escapism intensifies and the rhythm limitlessly picks up.

Crafted out of passion and precision united, a love for the genre, the scene, and a clear ability to finely design and designate a piece of music to its sole purpose, the project makes for an out-of- body listen that works in and of itself as the late-night playlist the lifelong techno fan craves.

No Reason To Be Disturbed acts not only as a reminder of the focus, skill and dedication that David LaFhionntain brings to modern and timeless techno, but also as an introduction to some of his most compelling and memorable compositions yet.

Refined choices, great shows and technicals mix have brought him to many French warehouses and clubs such as Contrast, Fée Croquer and Ninkasi Kao.
In 2017, he launched the INTERVENTION project with Luca Di Milla, a huge machine-set-up project: 1 modular, 4 Elektrons, TR & TR909.
Then came INJECTED, an exclusive project founded with Trym in 2018 for large-scale events. Their first date in Paris was at the Dock Eiffel.
