Cristina Lazic's latest 'L'Amour' EP is inspired by love and dreams and continues her quest to find the perfect blend of emotional yet minimal melodic beats. Opener 'L'Amour' radiates Lazic's signature sounds with a slick bassline and melodic chords that convey meaningful emotions under female spoken words. It's a seductive world of warm pads and silky beats that cast a hypnotic spell.

Spanish pair Los Suruba have done it all over the last 20 years - released hundreds of tracks, played thousands of gigs, established their own network of record labels, held residencies everywhere from Ibiza to London and crafted countless underground hits. Their remix of ‘L'Amour' is serene and cerebral with paranoid voices drifting through the mix and rippling chords keeping you afloat in the cosmos.

Italian DJ and producer Tuccillo steps up to release his debut album titled ‘A Part of 20’, featuring the deep and dreamy house track ‘Tonight’.
 
Following releases on Holic Trax, Visionquest, Ovum, 8bit and 20/20 Vision, Tuccillo turns his attention to his own Unblock label with his first full-length album. He’s been a guiding force within the underground dance music community for over a decade, showcasing stripped back, rhythm-focused material. His debut album touches on all facets of his musical persona with music for the dancefloor.
 
‘Tonight’ kicks off with a deep bass melody that leads into a driving house rhythm met with shimmering synth tones. The track also features Tuccillo’s faithful collaborator C.H.Brown whose soulful voice adds seductive appeal.
 
Look for ‘A Part of 20’ to be released in June.

Following on from his acclaimed remix of Dubfire featuring Carl Craig, Berlin-based Tibi Dabo returns to Crosstown Rebels with Disbelieve. It marks the first of three EP’s to be released on Damian's label this year, ahead of a much-anticipated debut album in October.

The EP begins with the rolling sounds of Disbelieve. Chugging along with a gently changing bassline, the lead synth reverberates alongside whispering hats and wonderfully emotive keys, before Tibi Dabo showcases his heavier side with Hire The Birds. Beginning with a pummelling kick, we are soon introduced to a mysteriously echoing vocal that winds into a melodic, celestial-like drop. Dj Balduin rounds off the release with a subtle, yet similarly hard-edged rendition of the second track. Up-tempo and incredibly danceable, synths shimmer alongside pumping drums and ethereal, bell-like chimes.

No stranger to Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels, young Max Guardans AKA Tibi Dabo has carved out a sound that is wise beyond his years. At just twenty-three the Barcelona native has already remixed Damian himself, on last year’s Diamond In The Dark re-release, a testament to his skill and dexterity as a producer, whilst his previous full-length productions on Crosstown showcase the breadth of his ever growing sound. Dj Balduin has already made a significant impact in the electronic music scene, with an album already under his belt as well as a debut release last year on leading melodic techno label Kompakt.
