Reimagining this iconic track by Hayley Williams and Zedd has been an incredible journey. It all started last year during a late-night session, I was procrastinating other projects and a running low on inspiration. I decided to throw caution to the wind, push everything I was working on to the side and get creative. This track came together through experimentation, intuition and way too much caffeine. My latest single "Chicago" is an ode to a city I’ve never visited but always been fascinated by. Inspired by Wilco’s Yankee Hotel Foxtrot album cover with its iconic view of the Marina City towers, the legendary house music I fell in love with as a teenager as well as its rich art, architecture, and culture; this track is my way of capturing the essence of a place I’ve imagined for years. I hope to someday experience Chicago in real life and see how my fantasies match the city itself. For now, I’m sharing my vision with you through this disco house track that brings all those elements together.
