Mean Joe Scheme - Personal Space

All eyes are on Florida.  As some of us hold back the tears and clench our fists in anger, a community is left in shock.  But this is a time for a new state of being to emerge.  We should not boycott Florida, but rather embrace the positive side of the Sunshine State.  The artist community that continues to push boundaries of expression.  Swamburger is presenting himself as one of the elder statesmen of this new Florida.  

As a member of Solillaquists of Sound, he has toured the world, blessing stages with a unique brand of hip-hop and no-holds-barred live performances for years.  With Sunshine State of Mind, his collaborative album with Brooklyn-based producer – and former Floridian – Optiks (Jon Connor, Blitz the Ambassador), Swamburger has focused his expression on the place that he calls home: Orlando, Florida. 

The first single from the project is "Black Verse," and it serves as a perfect mission statement for the unadulterated direction and sheer skill emanating from Sunshine State of Mind.
