"Cellar Door" is the debut album of virtual artist Nora Ganymede. She creates New wave, disco, and pop music that is mesmerizing, confounding, and disorienting. Nora Ganymede is an inter-dimensional explorer and disco star in search of infinite wonders. Her music has been scrambled dimensional interference and strange phenomenon that has also damaged her transportation device.

Her home dimension (Argus-23) is identical to our own reality, save for the fact that dimensional travel was discovered in 1982 allowing researchers to study the pleroma of realities. This technological breakthrough leads to a greater understanding of the universe, the unity of humanity, and ability to travel between realities as well as time and space. These cosmic explorers playfully referred to as "grasshoppers" are viewed as celebrities for their intelligence, compassion, and ability to vividly describe their adventures to viewers streaming back home. Nora Ganymede is one such researcher/explorer, and finds herself stranded here in our dimension due to equipment failure. Her travel through the last gateway was a bumpy ride and for now her mobile transport transponder (M.T.T) is fried. Intense dimensional interference causes her speech and music to be translated to listeners in a scrambled cryptic pattern, making it difficult for native humans to decipher. Nora's curiosity is boundless, she can see the bright side of all things, her wit is laser sharp, and her knack for communication is known to be her best quality. It's her ultimate dream to map out the multiverse, a seemingly insurmountable feat but she believes such a thing can be done no matter what anyone says. In the meantime Nora is content with studying and cataloguing the mind bending sights she sees in her travels and broadcasting music about her adventures.
