"Marrow Call" is the debut album of virtual dark pop artist Maleena Cassius. Maleena introduces us to her bleak perspective on the world, shares intimate truths, and crushing fears. Maleena Cassius is a flawed, paranoid, and vulnerable woman who takes you by the hand on a brilliant existential journey. She airs her grievances with old flames and even confronts her mother with unabashed truth. Maleena Cassius's will to forgive and even believe in love are waning with each failed connection. Each new spark is stamped out by the winter of her past or betrayal and she aches for true comfort. Maleena has been estranged from her mother for six years and during that time has been on a downward spiral of failed personal and romantic relationships. Half of her being reaches out into the void for interaction and equal love, while the other half slips into the embrace of solitude, fantasy, and delusion.  "Marrow Call" is a haunting hail from deep within the bone that's impossible to ignore.
