Neurotic Drum Band remix of Chris Carter's 1985 track 'Moonlight', taken from the forthcoming release on Optimo Music. Other tracks include a remastered original version and a brooding Oneohtrix Point Never remix.

Please note that the tracks aren't remixes but rather reinterpretations as there were no parts to work with and they had to start from scratch.

Originally recorded between 1974 and 1978 at Industrial Records studio in London 'The Space Between' album was first released as a 90 minute cassette in 1980 on Throbbing Gristle's Industrial Records label. It wasn't until 1991 that it was again released by Mute Records on CD. Although tracks from 'The Space Between' have appeared on numerous compilations since its release, the album has never been available on vinyl until now. 

This new vinyl edition on Optimo Music, now retitled 'The Spaces Between', doesn't include all the tracks of the original album but has been enhanced and remastered from the original two-track master tapes and has new cover artwork especially for this release.

On its third release, @Deviant-Disco-1 continues to dig up lesser known gems of various origins with a hot batch of four brand new edits. The French rarities label sticks to its peculiar aesthetics and welcomes you once again to an enthralling musical trip — starting with Tchamy Patterson’s groovy & percussive afrobeat only to spiral into Barnes' and Ygalove's hypnotic The Mongol Raid slow-mo trance edit and steering from La Décadanse's tropical and sensual rework of vintage hit Amazoniaque all the way down to Éric Vincent's obscure 80s French erotica.

'The Mongol Raid' is the result of Deviant Disco's new beat connoisseur Ygal Ohayon (@trashdisco) aka Ygalove teaming up with mysterious producer Barnes (from Barnes & Wobble). Ygal bumped into a trancy, unmarked german white label from the 90s ; he pulled the age-old 'oops — wrong speed' 33 RPM trick and waited for Barnes to come along with his magic scissors. With the cheeky addition of an oriental synth going properly bananas, their collaboration gave rise to this entirely rebuilt, borderline industrial tune. A wholesome slow trance monster!Release

As the King Cobra uncoils from a woven basket and flares out its iconic hood, it appears to sway back and forth hypnotically as the snake charmer plays his flute. Timpani solos, a variety of percussion, syncopated rhythms and colorful harmonies are woven together to create an exotic tapestry of sound that will captivate young musicians and their audiences. Puma & The Dolphin releases their first EP and it is massive. Our pick up is a B1 track -  "Cobra Dance".
Taking a similar yet slightly different aproach to the post-punk sound of previous tracks, this tune features a catchy bassline and groovy percussion, alternating between vocal samples, melodic elements, and rhythmic phrases. He took another step and felt a twig snap under his boot, a startled squirrel scampered away, ruffling the bushes he was walking past. He exhaled a sigh of relief and continued along the path, keeping a close eye on his footing. Daylight was approaching, and the forest he had been walking through was beginning to change shape as the twilight shone through the trees, casting soft shadows and laying down a gentle blue light that revealed more of the obscured path up ahead. The shower of bird song that came from the treetops soothed him as he moved carefully through the forest.

The newest release from French musician Hirschmann comes in the form of a self-released EP, Aux destins isolés. Written in the countryside at night, it captures the melancholy wanderings of the heart and mind. With this particular track, Grecian producer Anatolian Weapons reinterprets ‘Le Hasard de la Dance’. The extended remix amplifies the energy of the original version, introducing new rhythmic elements and a heavier low end, while still making space for the spoken vocals and pensive piano lines.

Patricio Cabezas’(@patriciocabezas) new EP “Raya” on Cut/Chase (@cut-chase) is a distillation of the conversations that have shaped him over the last decade. From the Danceteria-ready sheen of “Madonna” to the nocturnal-italo pulse of “Sergio”, Cabezas covers a wide swath of sonic ground, starting in almost-familiar places and spiraling out into the unknown.

This is Cabezas’ second EP, following up his 2018 Börft Records release "Mi Calle".

Born in Chile and living in Sweden, Patricio Cabezas is a multi-talented musician/producer. After years as a touring bass player, he recommitted himself to electronic music, trading his pickups for a circuit board in search of the boundaries of sound.

Since childhood Cabezas has thrown himself into the in-between. With a life of hybrid timezones, cultures and identities, his approach to music is similarly liminal. Driven by discovery and experimentation, Cabezas hybridizes genres, themes and instrumenta- tion to create electronic music that lives on the edge, built for the mains, headphones and everywhere in between.
