Secquoia was the first person to hit me up about remixing "Feet in the Grass" and I was so down, was just like.... let's make a new beat first. So Derek "GRMSLY" made this awesome beat and it's exactly the vibe I was looking for! We got things flowing with Cody at Stereogram, and I had to reach out to my friend Irie Givens for that last verse, harkening back to our NCF days when being barefoot was the social norm (and it's definitely still my own norm; research "GROUNDING" or "EARTHING"). The icing on the cake is the violin contributions from Michael Madison & the crazy animal noises from FishMizzles. This was a blast to create! Enjoy the REMIX 💜
