Episode 1 - Loving God in and through my Family

In this episode, Gobnait O'Grady speaks to us about working in the area of grief and loss. We discuss her own experience of grief and the subsequent understanding of other people's grief with her involvement in the "Bethany Bereavement Support Group". We also discuss the impact of grief, and the importance of accompaniment and compassion.

Episode 2 - Finding Meaning in Grief

This is the third in a series of interviews commemorating the 75th anniversary of Opus Dei coming to Ireland. In this episode, Dr. John Kehoe, who describes himself as an “ordinary” Irishman, explains how his work as a doctor, marriage and fatherhood have been enriched by meeting Opus Dei. 

The realisation that his children are God’s children first has helped him to be more intentional about his parenting. 

He explains how he has grown into his roles by trying to serve and love his wife Jennifer and children every day in small ways. 

We discuss how daily prayer and the sacraments are not chores to be ticked off but moments of encounter with Christ and His perspective in a busy day.

Episode 3 - Work and fatherhood - God is there with me

Fr Andrew Black talks about his conversion to Catholicism and his subsequent discovery of his vocation to the Priesthood. 

Having been baptised into the Church of Ireland, he decided in his early teens to convert to Catholicism. In 2015, he was ordained into the priesthood in Co. Down, Northern Ireland.

He is currently studying and lecturer in Rome, specialising in the study of Sacred Scripture.

Episode 4 - The Joy of Being a Priest

In this episode, Ciara Mannion, wife and mother of two living in Galway describes how she finds meaning everyday by loving others in and through her work. 

We explore the challenge of perfectionism and how to counter it with creativity and flexibility. 

Ciara tells us about her conversion in her own faith journey. 
She explains how the joy she encountered in members of Opus Dei and the virtues of her future husband led her to hunger for a deeper and personal relationship with God.  

She discusses how Opus Dei has taught her the joy of prioritised chaos as a busy mum.
