Here we go for a massive 100th edition of the Warning Mix series. To mark the end of our first "century", we decided to welcome back one of our absolute favourites. Back in the early days of Warning Mix '#6 we had S.O.N.S delivering a masterclass in Drum & Bass, still one of the absolute highlights on our SoundCloud. This time we got permission to share the live recording of his garden set at our Berlin party last summer, a three hour vinyl only journey into psychedelic music based on an out of this world selection and stunning mixing skills. We could actually end the series after this one - but don't worry, there will probably be a hundred more. Now turn on the volume, tune in to the music, drop out into the universe :-)

El dinamisme específic que construeix aquesta DJ i productora de Nova York és un flux embriagador que es fa palpable entre les parets de la pista de ball boirosa i il·luminada amb neons. Part sensual i part atrevit, l'estètica d'Andi es basa en la body music, prosperant en l'entrega del groove i els alts bombàstics del clímax d'una pista. Electric is the only way to describe Andi’s sets. The specific dynamism the NYC-based DJ and producer constructs is an intoxicating flow that is always palpable between the walls of the foggy, neon-lit dancefloor. Parts sleaze and sultry, Andi’s aesthetic is body music-based, thriving on the delivery of the groove and the bombastic highs of a track’s apex. As a devotee of distinct sounds such as EBM, new beat, Italo, and freestyle—with hints of housey 90s elements—her sets reflect her deep vinyl collection: diverse, yet focused, and completely one-of-a-kind. ⚡

A live DJ recording from Don Chich B2B GNMR at For The Cause Festival outside of Melbourne in Poowong, Victoria Australia on 29 March 2025. For The Cause is a loving curated, grass roots and intimate festival from a group and community of wonderful and kind people doing it all for the right reasons. 

The guys played a now-legendary closing set the festival on Saturday night/Sunday morning from 2:30am till 7am and we're lucky enough to have it to share with the world. 

It's an immersive, barnstorming 4 and a half hours of the highest grade records, two selectors going b2b for the first time and by the sounds of this, definitely not the last. 

There are gems a plenty in this mix as you'd expect from Don - head chef of the always-reliable Don's Delicatessen channel on YouTube - and GNMR, an Italian selector who held a residency at the legendary Goa Club in Rome.

Michelle emerged from the Uruguayan underground back in 2018. Since then, she's explored the sort of sounds that have made her homeland such a creative hotbed: stripped-back techno, electro and early tech house all collide in her tracks on the likes of My Own Jupiter, CABARET Recordings and, most recently, Element Of Impact. Though designed purely for dancing, they're rich with intriguing textural contrasts between steely metal surfaces, wonky acid lines and sultry synths.

Michelle only plays live, so this week’s mix is a raw, unfiltered one-hour transmission pulled straight from her machines. It’s a rugged ride that grinds through industrial tech, shadowy broken beats and deeper techno. The energy is relentless and the tension is palpable, as if intergalactic warfare lurks just out of sight. The pounding rhythms, strobe-lit grit and sweat-soaked intensity make this a masterclass in pressure and release that's alive, dangerous and keeps you right on the edge.

Moving to London from his native Trieste and then later to Germany in 2016, Matthias has been an instrumental player in Berlin’s nightlife for the past decade as the head of Superluminal. The label and long-running party series is a lab for minimal techno, a breeding ground for new ideas where he’ll famously play a primary synthesis of his own productions and white whale records. These releases and sets are marked by a cross-pollination of house, techno and electro; heaving frequencies that roll along at steady clip. In April of this year (and coinciding with Superluminal’s 9th birthday) he also released his debut album The Edge of Night, a nine-track opus that spans the realms of experimental and more dancefloor-configured terrain, a further exploration of the tonal landscapes he’s been treading since his early days as budding musician: profound, unvacilating techno that binds together disparate sounds in new and elegant form.  Bassiani Podcast 288 brings forth Matthias’ self-reflective strain of sound once more for a 71-minute studio mix: tribal, psychedelic rhythms from liminal lands, Matthias’ rattling percussions and heady sonics at the top of their game.
