The Sounds Of Sweet Nothing are thrilled to announce the release of "Sleep Education" (SWEET4) the debut album from Newport based musicians Jewellers.

Sleep Education is an 11-track album of electronic and ambient romanticism and one of the most promising manifestations to come from the UK electronic scene in a long time.

To coincide with the release of Sleep Education, Jewellers will be collaborating with some of their favourite new artists for a series of remix EP's. The first of which is the "Tape EP" which features remixes from Sun Glitters, Alone and Pinemarten.

All digital purchases of the album include the remix EP series, additional album material and a track purposefully made to show the shape of things to come entitled "ThirtySix"

Grass Stain - Cross Country

Newcastle dream pop outfit Seeing Hands have announced the upcoming release of their debut single ‘I Knew You’. Recorded in their hometown, the track is the first in a series of releases planned over the next twelve months and sparks immediate comparisons to the likes of The War On Drugs and Wild Nothing.

Comprising of Kev Curran (vocals, guitar), Nick Hodgson (lead guitar), Jon Varty (bass) and Liam Guillan (drums), the quartet’s jangly guitars and dreamy vocals have already earned them airplay on Radio X and their profile is sure to be enhanced further following this first single release.

Produced by Jack Boyle and John Elliott (Loft Studios, Newcastle), Seeing Hands’ ‘I Knew You’ is released on 5th August and will be available to purchase on iTunes and Spotify.

Hard Ton, Italy's extravagant duo of all things house music are back on Luv Shack Records, unleashing six steaming hot tracks on the "Queer Nation EP" - a precursor to the first full Hard Ton album that is due for 2017. "Queer Nation" has singer Max swapping his falsetto with a dark mangled voice, paying tribute to some essential queer icons over a dry acid house track that rejoices in repetition, and rightly so. "Classic Music" head-honcho and old timer Luke Solomon's remix of "Queer Nation" builds up an intense 707 drum pattern, underlining rhythm guitars and Max's voice, ending in a bold acid climax. Italian newcomers "Younger Than Me" also take on "Queer Nation", marrying an early 80's wave touch with a classic house approach. When Hard Ton pair up with ROTCIV, "Style Ga-Galore" awaits us. The cut up hushed vocals are thrown into a lush melange of filtered pad shots, a 303 bassline and a percussive house groove. "Yeah Yeah" featuring Moralez & Sames is an ode to early Detroit and Chicago house, with Max singing vigorously, syncopated hihats swirling and stabs nodding towards lil Louis. The final track is a LeSale disco dub of "The Way You Rock feat. Mirror People". LeSale strips the original drums completely, rearranging the vox, piano and synths to fit his disco workout edit style, adding a cheeky synth bassline to complete the boogie redress.
