Somov Records head Ignez is up next with an unmissable techno number that’ll make you sweat. A younger self dropped the stuffy confines of his childhood on the Dutch coast and fled to Berlin as so many do, and there began to cultivate a sound that has placed him firmly among some of his talented and much talked about peers. The DJ/producer credits the seaside upbringing with instilling a deep respect for the rolling tides and endless sands, natural references that are deeply embodied in his hypnotising and immersive rhythms. His occasional return to home turf as resident of Amsterdam-based party series Eerste Communie has also played a significant role in his musical development and found him willing publishers in the likes of Token and SK_eleven, as well as a sparring partner in Berlin heavyweight Rødhåd (with whom he shares two EPs). It’s techno in purest form, bewitching loops that pulsate like those long ago shores. In that sound his ascetic beats are flanked by the most minimal detail and rely on raw percussive might to mesmerise his listener. A dancefloor portal to another world; transcendent stuff for sure. From small club settings to festivals on a larger scale Ignez brings a kind of magic that’s hard to turn a deaf ear to, Bassiani Podcast 220’s proof that he’ll pull those tricks at home too. A hour of virgin, mechanical beats that daze and enthral, a staunch reminder of techno’s visceral power and of why, for so many, it’s such a ruling passion.

With over a decade of experience behind the decks, Volpe has become a respected figure in the Electronic music scene. His musical journey has taken him from the vibrant scene of Buenos Aires to the pulsating heart of Berlin.
His productions on esteemed labels like Frenzy, Sungate, and Mitsubasa explore sub-genres such as Dub, Detroit, Deep, Tribal, and Hardgroove, delivering a harmonious blend of energy and emotion.
Volpe's artistic roots are steeped in the rich traditions of Jazz, imbued with its complex chord structures and harmonization, steeped in Dub Reggae textures full of echo and reverb, and also deeply rooted in the rhythmic pulse of Afrobeat and Funk. He views himself as a synthesis of his musical influences and inspirations.

Born in Berlin with Turkish-Iranian roots, Aylin Idah began her musical journey as a drummer before stepping into the world of techno. Her sets are stripped-back yet dynamic, blending driving grooves, crisp percussion and unexpected turns that keep the dancefloor fully engaged. With a focus on vinyl and precise transitions, her style reflects both her percussive background and love for analog sound.

Aylin has played at key venues including RSO Berlin, Tresor, Radion Amsterdam and Rote Sonne Munich, steadily building a reputation for rhythm-led, floor-focused sets that balance control with spontaneity.

This mix was recorded in her home studio and brings together a blend of old and new discoveries. The first half leans into percussive textures before building into peak-time energy with a closing-hour spirit. It’s a mix that makes her dance from start to finish—and she hopes it does the same for the listener.

Kwinti is the smallest of the six recognized maroons of Surinam. They formed their communities in the rainforest and have their own marron language Kwinti.
Witagron is one of the main settlements and home to the Kwinti. Until this day the strength of the six tribes are very present where even still the smallest communities have the biggest impact.

At my sweetspot this one hour mix is recorded at 144 bpm. I've emphasized sexyness and groove but at the same time find deeper moments without letting go tension. Dansi yere!
