Rita Maomenos is a solo project of the Portuguese-born Rotterdam-based producer and Dj. Her sound strikes as being dark and stirring, with a blend of intricate drum patterns and eerie soundscapes. In her mixes, she crafts a seamless and hypnotic journey that layers different sounds and genres.

Leyla is an Azerbaijani DJ, collector and music producer based in Rotterdam. She has been involved with music long before starting to DJ, working in copywriting, graphic design and curation for record labels (STROOM, Yalanchi), as well as organising events both in Baku and Rotterdam. Her approach to sound lays in diversity, exploring various rhythms, ethnic influences and moods in her selections. At the root of her production efforts is an experimental nature, mixing different genre elements and incorporating vocals, which you can hear in her productions as 1/3 of the Gijdillounge trio and her first feature on Phase Group. She thinks sonic experiences are about taking inspiration from contrasting sounds, comparing and combining to bring the best out of all influences.

Based in Frankfurt/Offenbach, Germany, AJO is a musical talent of many flavours with a particularly immersive sound. His most recent release Ambedo on Mana Abundance is an ode to the deepest atmospheres of trance that captivates listeners in its ritualistic imaginary. As his other moniker Kalocain he released an EP in 2023 on Codek Records, and has an upcoming release titled Genetic Memory coming out next February 2024 on the Lithuanian label Electric Shapes. Oramics was created in 2017 as a platform to empower women, non-binary and queer people in the electronic music scene, then it evolved into an independent booking agency representing @zosia-ho-ubowska, @dogheadsurigeri, @molimonster and @isnt. We work mostly in Poland where we are from but our crew is based also in the Netherlands, Austria and France.

The vital part of our activity is to support other struggling communities and also music and artists from our region (Eastern and Central Europe) who are heavily underrepresented in the international music scene. 

We curate club nights and concerts, co-curate festivals and other events, showcasing the most interesting artists on the Polish scene. We curated stages at OSA Festival in Sopot and Sanatorium Dźwięku Festival in Sokołowsko, Tauron Music Festival in Katowice. We also run club nights at Projekt LAB club in Poznań. Artists from our roster performed at festivals such as Unsound, Tauron Nowa Muzyka, Sacrum Profanum, Rhizom, Instytut, Audioriver and played in renowned venues across Europe such as Macao, Ankali, De School or Cafe OTO.

We run a podcast series dedicated to artists from mentioned groups, artists who recorded mixes for us were i.a. Noncompliant, Nazira, La Frachieur, Violet and more. Electronic Beats said that “Oramics podcast series is quickly becoming a favourite here at Electronic Beats HQ.”

We also organize workshops, with a safe, inviting space and a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the gear and knowledge that is not readily available. We’ve organized DJing workshops (CDJ and vinyl) as well as production workshops (Ableton, drum machines, synthesizers, mobile apps for making music etc.).
