@animisticbeliefs bring energy and innovation in equal measure whenever they serve up one of their electrifying sets or thrilling tunes. They are most at home when on stage cooking up captivating mixes of IDM, club music and drum & bass with smart infusions of influences from South East Asia and a sense of spiritualism that sees all things as equal. Their productions have come on labels like Cultivated Electronics and Pinkman and always push technical and emotional boundaries. 

The pair will be joining us at Dekmantel Festival 2024 in August and here offer up a teaser of what you might get: darkly involving moods, industrial textures and otherworldly timbres that are paired to a wide range of rhythms and tempos. There is a looseness to the set that keeps your body in constant motion while the details woven in between the beats keep your mind just as busy. From unusual instrumentation to foreign language vocals, this is an action-packed selection for peak-time dance floor fun.

~ An avid digger, DJ, and resident of Warsaw's K-Bar Powiśle. Her focus centers mainly on the @discappointment collective and event series she co-founded, which promotes a wide range of genres and fresh-sounding artists from the local club scene. Recently, she has also started the bass-focused GUNGE event series.

In her musical exploration, Taan immerses herself in various sonic landscapes, constantly nurturing her passion for discovering and melding unexpected sounds. Her primary fascination stems from the broken and bass-heavy textures. She alternates between weaving these elements with rich, organic drums and creating textured soundscapes with a futuristic edge.
 
As a selector, she favors genre-blending, seamlessly navigating from bass, breakbeat and dancehall to dubstep and grime or venturing into leftfield and experimental sounds ~

Bliss Kiss is an electrifying femme duo based in Poznań, Poland, created by Julia Rover and Celia Crush. They have played at different festivals such as Wisłoujście, Las Festival, Resonation as well as renowned venues like Jasna1, Splot Słoneczy, Crackhouse, Piekło Nad Niebem, CIało. Their artistic activity was perfectly summed up by their performance at Berlin's HÖR!

Mirormir is a DJ and producer from Belarus, now based in Poland, and a resident of the @mastakrecords label. Her journey began in 2024 and quickly took off after winning a Raw Techno mixing contest on Seedj.

In her sets and productions, she blends elements of techno, hardgroove, and house — always guided by groove, emotion, and instinct. Her mission as a DJ is to bring people freedom, energy, and the urge to lose themselves in dance, letting go of everything worldly and unnecessary, if only for a moment.

Uruguayan DJ and producer YOZY supplies a shape-shifting mix for us, oscillating between experimental and broken rhythms to 4/4 techno and irresistible trance classics. The Barcelona-based artist also includes tracks from her upcoming album, dropping June 5th. Having released several contributions to VAs on Clan Destine Records, low income $quad, and Last Love Records, they have also delivered music to Human Club; a label based in Barcelona's Razzmatazz, where they are a resident DJ and run their own party CALIENTE. Additionally, YOZY has played for parties and festivals like Boiler Room x Primavera Sound, Raiders, Suicide Club, Voight-Kampff, Latineo, and many more. Plus, their monthly radio show on HKCR called 'Messages from the stars' has recently transformed into an IRL ambient showcase.

o•rbyss aims to help soothe the queer spectrum and focus on the well-being of the community. Queer DJs are invited to submit a mix to showcase an alternative side to their music library outside of a rave and take us on a meditative journey. ✨

Notes on the mix:

Recorded at the o•rbyss queer ambient sauna session at Sauna Social Club in Peckham. Premiering a stunning ambient DJ set featuring unreleased productions.

Hailing from Glasgow, TAAHLIAH came to music production quickly after starting to DJ. Driven by her dissatisfaction with the music she was hearing at parties, she started creating her own edits; layering warped vocals and morphing mainstream pop tunes into experimental club-ready anthems. Her original productions took centre-stage with the release of her EP Angelica and album Gramarye which explore identity, transformation, and resilience through innovative production and vocals. She is also known for her electrifying DJ sets that span avant-garde club sounds. TAAHLIAH is a defining voice in electronic music and club culture and conveys universal messages of power, acceptance, bravery, and euphoria.
