This singular mashup has 10,000 streams. It dwarfs every other mashup I have ever released, whether on this page or not. I genuinely don't understand how this got so popular (no real artwork, no promotion outside of friend servers, no obvious Soundcloud appeal), but I am appreciative that you've at least checked this mashup out. Now if only any other mashup I've made could get a tenth of the attention this has, that'd be something I could be genuinely ecstatic for.

It hasn't been too long since I last thanked everyone for pushing me to 20k listens, and as of writing we're at more than double that! I'm super happy y'all like my stuff, and I'm glad I can share it with you. Thank you all for the patronage and support!

I'd say this is my magnum opus as far as "meme mashups" goes. It's both listenable and filled with memes, which isn't a given in this business! It also took longer than I expected - sorry it was released a little behind schedule, life's been busy.

Also, a question to the comments: what are your opinions on apricots? A little random, but I want to gauge popular sentiment on this.

Big Black Cherry Pie

If I'm being honest, I had a more focused vision for this mashup a couple of weeks ago, and it was based on "Tell it to my Heart" and "Can you Feel my Heart," as you might have suspected. But I just couldn't sustain the mash off of those two sources alone - there's not enough interesting lyrical content going on in the latter, at least not to my taste. So it got...increasingly zanier as the mashup progressed. Still sounds ok, I think!

I'm going to see if I can work on a HQ-rip type project soon - as a tribute to both a good man and one of my favourite bands. Perhaps that's enough for some of you to deduce what kind of thing I'm working on. But don't tell anyone, m'kay? ;)
