As Australia goes into Zouk overdrive for the next few weeks, the Spring 2013 Mix brings a collection of new and old beats that have been doing the rounds out on my zoukfloors.  Equal parts nostalgia and fresh but as always, smooth, easy Zouk.

Grounded in NeoZouk but taking it in a slightly different direction, deeper and more fluid, my Zouk has influences from my background in electronic dance music. Trance, chillstep and progstep inspired, the music is more relaxed and laid back with time to really enjoy.

Perihelion - Sydney Latin Festival 2014 (23-1-14)

I had the privilege of opening the Zouk room at Sydney Latin Festival 2014 this year, which I present here.  Always a great festival with lots of great workshops and some of the best party nights in Australia, congratulations SLF on reaching a 10 year milestone!  The set starts light and warms up, and by halfway through goes deeper into my more typical sound.  Looking forward to seeing all the Australian Zoukers again over the next few months.

If you've heard me out and about you'll know I've still been busy producing, therefore please let me bring to you my recent set from the New Zealand Brazilian Dance Festival, held in Christchurch earlier in the year.  What an amazing festival with a perfect vibe.  Still with deep, grounded bass this set starts vibrant, journeys through some mellow choonz and ends with a banger!
