a few years ago , i was fortunate to meet nickodemus, a producer/ dj f new york. i'd been a big fan of his ever since i heard a remix of ustad sultan khan that he had done for a cd called essential elements. then cleopatra in new york, another classic tune of his.  from there to meet , i expressed interest in wanting to work with him on something.  he had just finished sun people album and proposed sending me stems for a song from that album, i then worked with nervous fervor to try and make a great remix for him, but i have to say , i choked a bit. too much pressure on myself and what i gave him i was pleased with but not super happy.  he graciously accepted the mix and release on his remix album.   ok fine, but i still was not happy with it.  a year later after working on a national geographic project for a year i was primed and in shape ( creatively)  and i decided to tackle it again. it was two months to my first us show at symbiosis and i knew nico would be there too, what you are hearing in this trk is the second exploration of this amazing trk.  the idea of bringing good vibrations of peace to the middle east is the direction my intentions went while building this mix. a reflection of the beauty and sadness of the cultures in that part of the world....enjoy!!!
