This sublabel is an extension of Orbis Records’ softer, more melodical and experimental side. Music will be ranging from house, dub, chicago over melodic acid and even breaks. Not any track makes it to this sublabel if it can't stand on its own and stand the test of time!

We warmly welcome Moda on OrbisX with his very special and pure analog feel to sound.

We’re taking the leap of faith with Moda, serving him a full EP to experiment.
The Roots EP was born.
The full EP is a mixture of funky beats with some housy touches with, in some phases, gentle and experimental dirty glitches.
Something to add to your collection. This EP can be played in quirky eclectic DJ sets, lounge bars or just at home with a nice glass of red wine.
Background music while having dinner with friends and you want to serve something special? This is one of those special EP’s!


“Something To Talk About“ is funky, dreamy and sparks that twitchy leg movement when you doubt if you should be dancing or be slightly head banging to that tune.
That kinda track. Serves well with candles, wine and late night talks.

“Under Her Skin“ might take off on a weird bit quirky dirty start, but when that lead kicks in, … we were sold.
Extremely funky. Be aware: you can’t hold yourself from clapping to this song. 

On the B-side, “Winter Tale“ counts as the second A track on the EP. Deep! Gentle and yet so snappy in it’s own dirty way.
We fell in love from the first note, or should we say that filthy deep baseline, those dirty well mixed-in toms and snappy rude claps!

“Running Man”. Well… if you like dreamy catchy house. This is for you.
A nice extra track, making this EP a brilliant pressing.

We can’t emphasize the talent Alexander has.
We hope he gets more attention with this EP.

Sensu Glasgow (@sensu_glasgow) kicks off their second release of the year with none other than Rudolf C (@rudolf-c). Coming straight from his last Split EP On Salt Mines alongside Shedbug, This four-track EP is the perfect showcase of Rudolf’s own personal and signature talent; a an excellent and cohesive blend of weird electro and analogue house. The much fitting titled, EndoPlazm EP is both raw and atmospheric, drawing from a range of styles, genres and soundscapes. Premiering is the B sides opener "Uniform" surrounding bass lines combined with a melancholy but hypnotizing vocal "deeper within" taking you even further into the groove for an uncompromising underground dancefloor tune. Life On Other Planets

Undreamed is the name of the new EP produced by Austria-born DJ and producer Fabian. This multi-talented musician was using a lot of analog synths and drum machines to create this release. His take on the progressive type of music is inspired heavily by some vintage, mellow sounds, where tapes were the peak of technology.
 
The first track called «Undreamed» is floating, very dreamy and warm, it also reminds of acid house vibes, but sounds even softer. Abstract vocal and straight-forward percussions add a very special housy flavor; massive pads are intertwined with cyclic 303 arpeggios.

"The press part"

Standard records are often too mediocre. The average track has been wrongfully given to much attention in order to achieve maximum income per release. Since digital music has been more available than ever, standards have been low as never seen before.

Some tracks are brilliant and special, others aren't worth it. Not even to get a digital format. Many tracks have been wrongfully given to much attention & have been falsely setting the tone for the new good. Good is not good enough!

We truly believe that music should be treated honestly and no one should lower the bar.
As a label, you should set an example. You should feel obligated to find the best mastering out there for your tracks. You should give honest feedback to new artists. You should define quality at the highest level possible.

We're extremely transparent in our communication in order to give you the most uncensored information about the other side of the music industry.

We aim to release the best we can get in our current time frame.
We don't settle with good enough. We're here to make a difference and help other to do so in any way we possibly can.

We want to transcend mediocre electronic music. We will do so in any way we can and help other people as well, in any format or any product possible. We happen to start with hypnotic & stripped down electronic music.

Orbis Records is probably one of those underground deep techno labels Belgium never had until now. The label will provide dark, deep and stripped down hypnotic techno music as wide as the box can get.

'Thinking outside the box is our priority' is possibly the most used sentence when it comes to label descriptions but we have no limits. Our priority is bringing deep, hypnotic and stripped down techno music that will please the partygoer as well as the record collector.

We aren't just another fish in the sea, not 'some' label that will release every week a load of crappy tracks to get that monthly cashflow. Instead we're scheduling our releases every 3 to up to 6 months (or maybe even more) depending on the time to find or create music that fits our vision.

It all stands and falls with the quality and character of the music in a wide perspective. Innovation, sound and emotion are the main driving forces behind our passion.

Music & artwork will be our #1 priority in order to move and touch all you collectors and fans of the deep & stripped sound out there !
