Persuing an aesthetic of forward thinking sound design and attention to detail, Sebastian Hoffmann is an artist who incorporates the new technological advances and sounds derived from it into his artistic language. 

His keen eye and ear dictate his productions which rely on heavy soundscapes and carefully structured rhythms, his sets with an intentional raw energy for Berlin floors, and his audio engineering services as well through the Modulate Project which he founded and runs. 

A constant effort to confront himself with the depths of human perception give him the tools to create otherworldly sounds in a new and exciting way, breathing fresh air into the beloved sounds originating from Detroit and Düsseldorf.

Planetary Echoes is a music project formed by Mario Degan and established in Berlin. Born on the French Caribbean island of Martinique and raised in Italy, he became closely connected with the club scene of his hometown during his teenage years. Renowned for hosting avant-garde parties, this
environment introduced him to electronic dance music. However, this exposure wasn't enough. He made the bold decision to relocate to Berlin, seeking self-discovery and embracing the bohemian life of a musician.

Starting to compose music at a young age, he primarily focuses on producing with modular synthesizers and analog gears. He constantly seeks a unique sound and vibration in his original tracks and performances. Rooted in a passion for the sound quality of vinyl and an exclusive use of analog
machines during performances, he constructs an atmospheric abyss marked by waves of profound frequencies and intensely saturated percussive rhythms.

Exploration of the esoteric realm led him to develop a distinctive production style where darkness and light coexist as protagonists. This dynamic pairing enables him to craft a dreamy sonic atmosphere, particularly evident in his live performances. Here, his costume-modular synthesizer becomes a vessel for expressing his musical philosophy and creativity.
Planetary Echoes' music leads listeners through dreamy narratives enveloped in diverse soundscapes. As he puts it, "I aim to offer the audience something they didn't even realize they were missing."

Mode_1 is a techno producer and DJ and a resident for one of the most consistent collectives in Dublin, Subject. He produces clean and powerful peak time techno and his DJ sets would be best described as fast and trippy with a groove. As a Subject resident, he plays regularly at two of the city’s best venues, District 8 and Index as well as festivals such as Life Festival, Electric Picnic and Boxed Off.

Mode_1 started releasing music in 2018with his track “Oíche” featured on Berghain resident Fiedel’s Double Mixpack EP, Appendix.2019was an exciting year for the artist with the release of his debut E.P “Final Approach” on French label Knotweed Records and later featured his track “Return” on Fiedel’s new label Super Sound Tool.2020 sawMode_1 back on Knotweed with his EP “Mainframe” and on Fiedel’s label Fiedel Two with the ‘’4x4 Series Pt1’’ EP as well asa release on the legendary label, Naked Lunch Records with his EP ‘’Pusher’’.

The artist has released music on labels such as Insolate & Volster’s imprint, Out of PlaceRecords, Spanish label, Prophecy and Irish labels CircuitStructureRecords and Research Label. 
Mode_1 has also released 3 independent EPs as part of the M1M series and has had the honor of doing remixes for artists such asTruncate , Vinicius Honorio, and Jay Clarke.

The artist has since released his 3rd and 4th consecutive EPs,“Movements”and“Reactor”on KnotweedRecords

Lensis is a musical project created by Francesco Giannuzzi, born in Varese in 1987.
This adventure began in 2009, playing in various clubs and festivals between Varese, Milan, Lugano and Amsterdam.
His DJ sets are characterized by acid, dark, detroit, rave and electro sounds, influenced by IDM and ambient music.
Electronic music producer since 2012, he founded the FLUCTUS SOUL label with his friend Marco Bove.
He also published for DIFFUSE REALITY, SECTOR AUDIO, PHYSICAL TECHNO RECORDINGS and as remixer on MATERIA.
Francesco currently collaborates with TECH CLUBBERS, an electronic music project, as resident DJ and co-organizer of their events.

D.Sociation is a Berlin-based DJ and the founder of AOT, a platform for live artists utilizing Modular Systems and creatives to produce live jams. 

He is known for his experimentation with synthesizer live setups and producing his own tools to enrich his sets, emphasizing repetitive patterns and percussions in his style. 

D.Sociation made his Berlin debut at OXI in November 2023, quickly gaining track in the scene. He is set to return to OXI for an extended event series hosted by Amsterdam Techno Records. 

His past performances include the Berlin-based Orbit Kollektiv and a YouTube livestreamed clubnight at Noh-Radio, Istanbul Turkey.

iIyas-S is a DJ from Morocco, introducing a vinyl based techno music that plays with tribal, groovy and funk sound. 

His first release was in 2022 under the alias ‘The Nomads’ and it came in the form of a remix for Samuel L Session Shake Watch.

Later in the same year ilyas-S he released his first album called ‘Start’ featuring 8 tracks in ‘Red Section Records’. Now he is based in Berlin and preparing his upcoming remix for Samuel L Session in ‘NomadGroove Records’ releasing soon.

IACOPO is a Florentine DJ and Resident of the events "Techno is not a Business". Under the name Iacopo Cohen he shared the stage with artists such as Luke Slater, Flug, Torsten Kanzler, Galudia Gawlas, Flug, Black Asteroid, Mattia Trani, Dustin Zahn.

After a break in 2023 together with Riccardo and Loris he founded "OneHour" a project in Florence aimed at giving free artistic musical space to local and non-local emerging artists.

His sets are founded on a very percussive Techno, fast-paced rhythms and sounds ranging between hypnotic and acid.

Originally from the small city of Ganja, Azerbaijan, Tasha Safari's musical journey embarked on a vibrant exploration of Azerbaijani culture. Growing up in a nation renowned for blending Eastern and Western influences, she immersed herself in a diverse soundscape, ranging from traditional Azerbaijani music to the echoes of psychedelic rock and post-punk, seamlessly woven into the rhythmic beats of folk instruments and the emotive melodies of mugham.

Enveloped by beats and groundbreaking sounds from an early age, Tasha Safari showcased a natural aptitude for music. Her fascination with electronic instruments and an insatiable thirst for rhythm and melody led her to experiment with synthesizers and drum machines.

As she launched her DJ career, Tasha Safari initially delved into hip-hop, effortlessly merging it with electronic music. In her pursuit of a distinctive sound, she continuously experimented with different music genres.

Her sets are characterized by hypnotic and groovy rhythms, expertly weaving together diverse subgenres of techno, guiding audiences through an exploration of the electronic sonic landscape.

Over the years, Tasha has graced numerous venues across Europe and CIS countries, collaborating with artists globally, enriching her sonic palette. A recent collaboration to watch out for is the upcoming 2024 release of "Bel Fort & Tasha Safari: Disorder EP."

Currently, she is deeply immersed in a collaboration with Alessandro Adriani of Mannequin Records, embarking on an innovative techno project. Together, they are crafting a cutting-edge album and gearing up for an emphasis on live performances.

ORBIT Series #020 - Tasha Safari

Juan Neira is a 27yo Dj/Producer based in Berlin, originally from Uruguay. 

Head of EINZ records, and member of Unordnungsamt; his journey with electronic music begins in his teenage years, being influenced by the sounds of Acid House and Techno, and takes a more serious role in his life around the year 2017, when he decides to dive into the world of Djing

Since then, he has been working towards finding a style true to himself, being versatility a key point in this. We can find his sound ranging from 126bpm to 138bpm mostly, with an emphasis on maintaining beats layered for long periods of time, to create a seamless dancing/listening experience, taking on elements from different genres into his music.

Currently he finds himself more comfortable in the lower bpms, aiming to create soundscapes that favor dancing and mental abstraction for longer periods of time, rather than euphoric bursts of energy and high speeds of movement.

ORBIT Series #022 - Juan

Davide Avaltroni aka Aval started as a producer in 2017 and then moved on to mixing.
In 2019 he founded Kollective Re-Search together with other local artists and began performing live and as a DJ. His musical research focuses mainly on melodic techno. Classics and soundtracks inspire his work.

Today, in addition to producing and performing with his collective, his research also finds expression in other areas, such as Dutch and Berlin techno which brings him closer to vinyl.

This mix, entitled (Architecture from Space), the first of the series, is the result of this alternative research, which consolidates the melodic timbre and introduces bpm and underground sounds with
a perpetual groove, never explored before. An alternative selection of songs, which opens the horizons to new experiments and sound sensations.

PITCH.1, part and Resident DJ of the Tech Clubbers collective, is the Techno project of Vincenzo Montalbano.
The approach to the world of the clubs takes place during the years of stay in London which will guide the style with the typical sounds of house music. The many visits to Berlin clubs add minimal and dark notes to his DJ sets. Lover of 90’s techno he winks at acid, detroit, industrial sounds, with break beat parentheses.

Matteo D’Avena, aka Hallien, despite his young age has a considerable experience accumulated over the years, that allows him to be dynamic and capable in the all-round Electronics scene, dealing with Ambient and Techno projects ( with particular attention in the Hard, Industrial and Deep Techno area ) as well as having a deep knowledge of instruments for Live sets and productions, ranging from Drum-Machines to samplers and synthesizers.
Matteo is also owner of the label VEIN and Resident DJ of Club Area Jeko ( Vieste ) and part of the Tech Clubbers collective.

Alessandro Adriani is a lot of things – producer, DJ, live performer and label owner of Mannequin Records – but above all he is a tireless music researcher.
The Berlin-based Italian goes further than your average “crate digger” in pursuit of information about sounds, styles, artists and record labels, devoting countless hours to unearthing the untold stories behind the music he loves, regardless of when it was made.

Adriani’s obsession has naturally shaped his other musical endeavors, not least Mannequin Records, the label he established over than a decade ago, voted label of the month by Resident Advisor in 2017.

Over the years, the imprint has won praise from buyers and critics alike for its open-minded blend of on-point reissues, archival collections and fresh productions. The intriguing, leftfield mixture of material on offer – think techno, electro, cold wave, industrial, EBM, minimal synth, and more – is naturally a reflection of Adriani’s wide-ranging and off-kilter tastes (as you’d discover if you had a quick flick through his vast and growing record collection).

Adriani is distinctively drawn towards the dark and obscure, and you can hear this approach amongst the long, drawn-out mixes of his similarly eclectic DJ sets. 

Alessandro has contributed outstanding mixes for Resident Advisor, FACT, Crack Magazine, Bleep, Cxema and Dekmantel. On the festival circuit he’s made appearances at Berghain, Tresor, Atonal, Boiler Room, Dekmantel, ADE, Dimensions, Neopop, Positive Education, Signal and more, together with his bi-monthly dates at Berghain and Panorama Bar, a residency he’s held from 2016 to 2020.


As a producer, Adriani’s output naturally draws on these inspirations, but also reflects his obsession with electronic hardware. 

Under his own name Adriani has built a reputation for delivering heavy, angular and forthright club cuts for such celebrated labels as L.I.E.S. Records, Stroboscopic Artefacts, Jealous God, Pinkman and - of course - Mannequin Records.

ORBIT Series #025 - Alessandro Adriani

Over the past years, Silent G has managed to establish himself in Berlin’s electronic music scene. 
As a DJ, he is a regular behind some of the city’s most renowned decks. And with gigs in Vienna and Mongolia, his music has also taken him abroad. 

In the booth, his main goal is to find the right connection to the dance floor. Depending on the vibe, his sets range from dubby Techno to old school Tribal cuts, funky Hardgroove or driving Techno tools. But he also feels comfortable in more break-heavy spheres, such as Drum’n’Bass and Jungle. 

Besides DJing, his activities in the local scene include running the event series ZEMENT, and curating the Drum’n’Bass and Jungle night STALACTITES at Paloma. 
Silent G is also part of the Interphase crew, hosting notorious genre-bending off-location parties. 

As a producer, he has a first track release on the Irish label Space Records. Another one is already scheduled for 2025 on the Toronto-based imprint Oneiros Records.
