Veronika USA’s set explores auditory spaces of in-betweenness, of intermediate rooms that have a before and an after transcribed with field recordings, own compositions snippets and tracks from various artists. 
“in-between spaces” can refer to the negative space between objects or shapes in a composition. Can an echo signify “in-betweenness” that transcribes as a space alluding to a gap, or can it, for instance, be an agent for being a body but not being in oneself?

This mix is a chronologically ordered selection of songs, that were remarkably influential for me.
They are not ordered by release date, but rather by the time that I came across them, spanning the time from my very birth until now.
All of the pieces are not only related to specific personal memories but also to different phases and ways of listening to music.
Instead of a tracklist, I have put together a list of selected YouTube comments and lyric bits for each of the tracks:

The Nurse with Wound list is a list of musicians and bands that was included with Chance Meeting on a Dissecting Table of a Sewing Machine and an Umbrella (1979), the first album by Nurse with Wound.
There are 291 entries on the list. The list was expanded with Nurse with Wound's second album, To the Quiet Men from a Tiny Girl (1980).
The list was compiled by the original Nurse with Wound trio of Steven Stapleton, John Fothergill, and Heman Pathak. 
It was intended as a homage to the artists who influenced the Nurse with Wound project. 
It has since become a type of 'shopping list' for collectors of outsider and avant-garde music.

In the Listening Model, a set is managed by exploring a parameter space defined by five hyperparameters: n_estimators, max_depth, n_samples, n_random, and n_splits. 
The n_estimators parameter represents the number of unique tracks that can be incorporated into the set, with higher values increasing musical diversity but also adding complexity. 
max_depth controls the maximum duration allowed for transitions between tracks; when set to "None," transitions continue until the end of each track or a specified cutoff, while limiting this parameter allows for a more dynamic flow. 
The n_samples parameter dictates the minimum number of listeners required to initiate a track change, ensuring that transitions only happen when there’s sufficient audience engagement. 
n_random adjusts the randomness in track selection, with higher values introducing more variety and lower values promoting consistency. 
Finally, n_splits sets the minimum enthusiasm level required for a track to be retained in the mix, ensuring that selections resonate with listeners and contribute to a stable, engaging atmosphere. 
This parameterized approach allows the model to deliver a balanced live listening experience that adapts to audience engagement while maintaining variety and flow.
