A pairing of considerable experience, Luke Brancaccio & Gai Barone return to Proton Music with a brand-new original track in the shape of "Got to Get it Started", alongside remixes from Michael A and Orsen.

A powerful duo with a rich combined history stretching back more than 15 years, the UK / Italian axis has accounted for some of the finest underground house releases. First coming together in August 2021, their "Lust Stop / Letter to Her" EP shone a bright light on Guy J's esteemed Lost & Found imprint before going on to feature on the likes of Selador, Renaissance Music and Sudbeat Music. A 2023 remix of Verche for Particles was then followed by a debut Proton Music remix of dernis the kid's "Maybe feat. Clara Jo" a year later. Now returning with a debut original offering, "Got to Get it Started" is a powerful progressive gem that hits hard with thumping beat and ticking hats before a smooth female vocal proclaims the track title. A cast of hypnotic melodic elements builds with filtered intensity with a pulsating arp and hefty bassline to keep the energy high. A glorious piano phrase supplies old school vibes at the breakdown while cadenced vocal snippets evolve with the hypnotic array of pitched synth arps in the second half to reach a stirring crescendo.

Michael A has been at the vanguard of the Proton Music sound since his 2017 "Bright Hope" EP. Over 60 production credits later and the Belarusian has seen an ever-evolving sound feature on the likes of "Aura Tears", "Geometria" and 5 incarnations of the popular "Fantasy" series. Remixes for such iconic figures as Pole Folder, Dousk and Trilucid have also contributed to a sought-after production talent as Michael A reworks "Got to Get it Started" in typically majestic fashion. A huge thumping beat opens proceedings while a syncopated bassline echoes Luke Brancaccio and Gai Barone's original. An immaculate percussive groove supplies dancefloor sensibility as the remix builds seamlessly. Pausing for breath at the breakdown, familiar melodies from "Got to Get it Started" shine through as they intertwine with Michael's original production material. The result is a seething, progressive gem that is another commanding reminder of Michael A's talent and passion.

Legendary figure, Dan Orsen, has been at the progressive scene's top table for over a decade. Responsible for some of the finest modern underground house tracks, the UK-born, Austrian-based artist has been a regular on Sudbeat Music, Perspectives Digital and a raft of releases on Cid Inc.'s Replug where he heads up A&R. Nine remixes for Proton Music since a 2016 reworking of Mondkrater has seen Orsen interpret the likes of Roger Martinez, Dimuth K and GMJ & Matter, while a 10th Proton Music remix now sees him produce a driving mesmerising interpretation. Playing handsome tribute to the sonic overtones and vocal cadence of the original, Orsen transforms it into a spiky, coruscating, acid-powered affair that gradually builds in energy using the melodic crescendo of the original to magnificent effect in the second half. The result is a dramatic and impressive departure from the traditional Orsen sound.

A dancefloor classic, "Got to Get it Started" sees Luke Brancaccio and Gai Barone jumpstart their Proton Music sound with glittering remixes from Michael A and Orsen.

His dedication to music traces back to 1997, where his love affair with electronic music began as a musician and he has not stopped since, constantly blurring the lines between playing and producing. For TEELCO, the decks and the studio are not just places of work, but sanctuaries of creativity and solace.
Through his obsession with electronic music, TEELCO has become a beacon of the progressive music scene, garnering praise from industry heavyweights such as Hernan Cattaneo, DJ Ruby, Guy Mantzur, Nicolas Rada, Ezequiel Arias, Mariano Mellino, Miss Melera, Martin Fredes and many more. The year 2022 proved to be a milestone for TEELCO, with successful productions and electrifying performances, including a memorable appearance at the renowned AMASTERDAM DANCE EVENT (ADE) and in 2024 with his participation in one of the most famous festivals already and one of the iconic labels, ANJUNADEEP EXPLORATION. His productions are characterised by intricate melodies, infectious grooves, and vibrant harmonies, painting a sonic tapestry that captivates all the senses.
Adding to his repertoire, TEELCO hosts his own radio show, "Sonho Melodico," on Saturo Sounds, an online radio platform based in the UK. Broadcasting every first Saturday of the month since November 2020, the show showcases TEELCO's curated selection of progressive delights, enchanting listeners worldwide.
Among some of his latest achievements, TEELCO has teamed up with heavyweights such as Maze28, Stereo Munk and Gorkiz, standing as a testament to his musical prowess, and further solidifying his position as one of Albania’s key players in the space. 
With a myriad of new releases and remixes already unleashed last year and this year, 2025 is definitely the year to watch TEELCO as he continues to push the boundaries with his productions and performances, his journey promises to resonate with audiences across the globe, leaving an impressive legacy on the world of electronic music.

We would like to share with you our next Free download bootleg which was made by our great friend, Dj Bird. He's been actively in the music production for decades who loves to "retouch" the evergreen and unique anthems from the past. This time he has reinterpreted Luzon's track called "The Baguio Track" which was released by Yoshitoshi Recordings in 1999. 

The original release saw HUGE support across the board and we hope everyone will support this amazing remix by Dj Bird.

The next release on Crosstown Rebels sees Made By Pete come together once again with vocalist Jem Cooke. Returning to Damian Lazarus’ impressive imprint, Made By Pete invites Diynamic label boss Solomun and Gruuv founders Audiojack to take on remix duties. 

The original cut of So Long opens up the EP. You are at once immersed in its trance-inducing elements, intensified by Cooke’s powerfully sensual vocals. Solomun shapes the title track into a grittier, industrial version whilst Audiojack’s leans on the more percussive side, with ambient sounds and a prominent vocal hook. Closing the EP is Modify Saturn, a track graced by tribal drums that beckon you to succumb to the groove. 

"The aim for 'So Long' was to create a record that would work in a club, but also crossover onto a playlist for everyday listening. The track took on many forms during its creation but as soon as Jem delivered that stunning vocal, the final outcome became obvious.” Made By Pete
