The ever-expanding mind of Space Gray/Orbit Radio can hardly be confined into one mix. In fact, that’s why there’s going to be a (pt.2) follow up.

This session reaches across the sonic universe and builds bridges from Jazz to Techno, Hip-Hop to breaks, Funk to Trap. Space’s non-conformist mixing and EQ bending are influential, and clearly inspired by the realms he explores. Simply put, it’s a downstairs Jazz club turned rave.

Based in Brooklyn, and having played around at parties and gatherings alike, Space is highly involved in scenes that span as many genres as his mixing. He’s got a heavy hand in rap scenes from Massachusetts to Kampala, creative directing + managing indie acts, co-founded an influential music blog, and is currently a help in Tyler, The Creator’s brand by day.

Kid A (the brainchild of Space Gray & Isaac Lewis) played a 3 hour set into the early AM, fusing Jazz, House, Disco, Funk and more together for a transcendent night amongst the moonlit trees.
