Subosc launches its new CD series with a special full-length release by Corell.

The album showcases a powerful set of ambient/techno contributions. Through the full playtime, drum structures are interleaved by immersive and rarefied elements such as modulated noise and field recordings. The percussive elements are specifically tailored for each track, in order to match the character of the soundscapes. The diverse, captivating, and minimalistic approach gives an interesting and experimental vibe to the tracks.

The unique sound palette offered by Corell can be described as organic, classy, and sophisticated. An intense photonic delivery is balanced with explorative, rarefied, and spatially rich soundscapes that bring ecstatic stimulations to the listener.

Hypnosis and darkness accompanied by an outstanding and crafty use of effects and modulations can be clearly perceived in this release. Transitions from fully rhythmic techno to more meditative soundscapes give place to an evolving, complex, and coherent result.

We are very happy to present you with the 56th chapter in our Podcast Series today, a powerful deep listening mix recorded live at Perpendicular 2025 by our dear friend ~ Horizontal. Setting the scene, imagine yourself laying down comfortably in a wooden cabin deep in the woods at night time, in profound communion with your fellow listeners and letting the sounds collective carry you inwards 🌚✨
 
I first met Paul two years ago playing at one of my favourite ambient rooms at a small gathering in Scotland, then again last year at Backsteinboot in Berlin where we both played as part of an all night sleepover ambient event Rausch. Both times, I was mesmerised by the composure and depth of Paul’s music and demeanour, two qualities that truly shine through in this sublime mix probing the realms of drone ambient, minimalism, avant-garde and electro-acoustic composition 💫

This hour and a half of slithering drones, liquefied glitches, deep nocturnal soundscapes and ritual sonics is occasionally punctuated by narration. It ebbs and flows between barely audible and fiercely present as it deliberately stretches the scope of listening with its passage. The further in you listen, the deeper in you go 🔮

ENTHUSE grew up surrounded by music from an early age, starting with dance, piano, and drums. In her teenage years, ENTHUSE began dancing in the United States, later immersing herself in club culture and street dance in the Philippines and Canada.

In her early twenties, she returned to her home country of Japan and began her career as a DJ. Drawing from her background in hip-hop and house dance, ENTHUSE developed a distinctive sense of groove and a fast-paced, high-energy playing style.

In recent years, she has primarily focused on techno, actively working as a producer as well. In 2023, she gained attention both domestically and internationally by providing a techno track for the Milan Collection. In 2025, she released an EP on LETS TECHNO records. 

Under the name Yuri Nagahori, she explores a broader musical range, focusing on hip-hop, house, and disco, showcasing her unique musical style across various genres.

幼少期から音楽に囲まれて育ち、ダンス、ピアノ、ドラムを始める。
10 代の頃にアメリカでダンスを始め、その後フィリピンやカナダでクラブ文化やストリートダンスに没頭した。

20 代前半には母国日本に戻り、DJ としての活動を開始する。 ヒップホップやハウスダンスの経験から培われたグルーブ感と、スピーディーで疾走感のあるプレイスタイルを得意とする。

近年は主にテクノをプレイし、プロデューサーとしても積極的に活動中。 2023 年にはミラノコレクションでテクノ楽曲を提供するなど、国内外で注目を集めている。 2025 年には LETS TECHNO records から EP をリリース。 

また、Yuri Nagahori 名義ではヒップホップ、ハウス、ディスコといったブラックミュージックを中心に活動し、幅広いジャンルで独自の音楽性を発揮している。

DJ Bowlcut, who describes himself as a "DATA JOCKEY" playing all the musical data that exists in the world, has been an influential figure in the Korean electronic music scene. As a DJ and producer shaping the foundation of the local club scene, he has been actively involved in various projects. His track selection, imbued with meaning in every choice, has the power to bring energy to different times and spaces. Rooted in minimal house, leftfield sounds, and Dub Techno, his genre-blurring selections are enhanced by his unique mixing style, shaped by his background as a turntablist, delivering an unforgettable experience to listeners.

Currently, he also runs Seoul Community Radio, contributing to the growth of the scene while building networks that connect various venues, collectives, and brands across Korea and the world. His exposure to diverse music and ideas naturally extends into his production work, with vinyl releases on labels such as Unknown To The Unknown, 777 Recordings, and Phutureshock Records, as well as digital releases on Gestalt Records and Maai Records.

Recently, he launched the "Principauté de Bowl-Air" label, dedicated to minimal house and techno, where he releases both digital and vinyl records. By integrating modular synthesizers, vinyl, forgotten hardware techniques, and the latest AI and computer technologies to make Korean Pop and Indie, Rap sound to Deep Minimal House and Dubby.

Sound Garden is an ambient and chill out party we started in Tokyo in the early 2010s, and has been running on and off ever since. After a bit of a break, we are returning to our original venue with our original lineup. Ahead of the event, I dug up an old recording of a set I played at Sound Garden. These parties have been an important place for developing my sound over the years. This one has a bit more of a cosmic / krautrock vibe. I hope you enjoy it. I'll most likely delete it after the 8th.

Subosc is back in full effect with a new release on shrink-wrapped vinyl.

The A-side is assigned to the techno veteran Mike Parker, known for his signature sound on Geophone. In this release, he showcases two timeless, versatile and masterly crafted tracks.
 
"Trailing particles" presents a solid, well-defined narration with a futuristic, sligthly hallucinogenic synthesis. The reverberation of the analogue synths is precisely crafted, and it gives a spatially evolving character to the track.
"Trireme” features an obscure, alienating, pervasive and shiver-inducing synthesis action, which has a consistent and energetic sonic impact on mind and body.
 
The B-side includes two original tracks from the brand new Italian project R²π, born from the holistic fusion of Retina.it, Prg/M and Ruhig.
"Persona" is a rarefied tale with an intricate scenery, cleverly modeled to give a sophisticated spatial awereness. Bleeps, metallic synths and intricate percussions are put together with a massive bassline for a complete sonic experience.
"Stato Intermedio" takes place with a terrain-to-transcendent voyage. Dark, alarming soundscapes are blended with vibrating and occasionally mind-blasting metallic sounds. Additional bleeps give continuity to the experience proposed in "Persona", offering regularity to the structure of the track, and allowing to dose precisely the mutating action of the synths across the time axis.

The South Korean producer Einox joins our label, delivering three tracks of excellent techno, ranging from ambient sounds to hypnotic and repetitive synths. The release includes a huge remix from the SCOPÁVIK owner Scøpe.

Latmos delivers four pieces of classy hypnotic techno with a special spacey vibe.

"Plural Lifeforms" puts emphasis on equality and human rights recurring to an evolving groove and a heavy action of bleepy and hypnotic elements.

In "Genom", liquid synths and ethereal elements are interleaved with a ritualistic high-decay kickdrum blended with a reverberated ambiance.

"Sinking" presents a more detailed ambient texture and fast-paced rhythmic patterns. Sharp reverberated hi-hats create expansive and hallucinatory effects in the background. 

"Algorytmi" reworks the vibe of the EP implementing a basic structure that makes the track playable in different contexts.

Overall, a very interesting EP for the lovers of classy techno. Don't miss it!
