We're excited to unveil the seventh solo release on QEONE, crafted by the talented Mexican producer MirrorLake. In his 'Moa' EP, MirrorLake delves deep into the fusion of dub and deep techno, crafting an organic sound aesthetic that is both mesmerizing and intriguing. It starts with the dreamy track 'Flora Imaginaria'; its groove infused feeling sets the stage for the sonic journey ahead. 'Echoes of Eternity' takes listeners deeper with its hypnotic and electrifying repetitive synth lines, leading seamlessly into 'Passcode', which intensifies the experience even further, creating a suspense-filled atmosphere. Finnish deep techno maestro Kaspiann (@soundsofkaspiann) makes his Mantis debut with four densely packed depth charges of dancefloor meditation. The Helsinki-based artist has been entrenched in the city’s underground scene for a long time, organising official and unofficial parties, DJing prolifically and performing live. Since establishing his VALA label in 2021 via a split release with regular collaborator Multicast Dynamics, his sound has refined towards an elegant, heads-down sound which is represented perfectly on this four-track excursion. From the even-tempered mantra of ‘Satakieli’ to the aqueous, lightly dubbed electro of ‘Tuiskussa Langennut’, the warm after hours synth bath of ‘Havinavalssi’ and the pensive percussive of ‘Solina’, Kaspiann demonstrates a keen balance between richly layered detail and an overall subtlety — heavyweight music that feels light on the ears.

A sheen, shaped, silver smooth
ringing go hues bounced against
the sizzle of shaking
as the steady siren sings
a tune to sway all sands
into dunes and dynamics delivered.

The wheel and roll of night air moon
dew'd backward, the underside is as dry as a chime,
while the uppermost is a rained as the tallest cave
that stretches the feel of inside
as if the costae verae were elastics,
and the sternum were a bell.

One that might only sound out
the metal in the veins,
like metal under water,
flowing, fell fathoms far
along an elliptical path,
drilling out the cache of concepts,
corroded and clean,
shing as beams build out bones
of sound from the dark kick
scratching out strange signs
we cannot deny.

And we know.
We who have heard.
And felt the raying cosm
building on scintilance
a vast canopy that drops
upon our heads a breaking force
to set us a'dream,
that no tone of suspended contact
between you and those ahead of you in line,
one place, one minute away
from a beta phase,
a sudden turn,
a slow new,
a change,
a chance,
to come careening slowly
into air that smells of lavender,
in a land of yellow grass
and black stones.
