Following her own words, music is her way to satiate the need of expressing herself. Born in Spain but irrevocably drawn to the city since she started playing and collecting records - here, Manuela blossomed. It is in the fertile grounds of the best dance floors, the best sound systems, the best record stores, the most like-minded people that she finds inspiration and motivation to better herself. After all, life, like music, is always in progress.

We are more than honored that this year our cornfield was visited by the marvelous Ruben Ganev! Ruben is a Bulgarian Sofia-based Producer and DJ whose skills and proficiency with sound are nothing less than elite. Ruben is also the founder of his imprint mould.audio , which focuses on avant-garde textural compositions. While this may be his first performance in Slovenia, trained ears may have already crossed paths with his productions on the dancefloor, as his creations are supported by the likes of DVS1, Claudio PRC, Etapp Kyle, Takaaki Itoh, Temudo, Daniel[i]... Be prepared for a lesson!

Sound of Koruznik 001: Ruben Ganev

Sequenzial Shift is a new label project from Alex Dolby based in Italy that will focus on deeper and more experimental cuts. A veteran artist of the scene and highly prized producer known for releasing on Developer's Modularz, Emmanuel's ARTS, Marco Bailey's MB Elektronics, Teksupport and his own Affekt Recordings. His educated sound is much loved around the world and Functional Elements is an album that steps into leftfield territory with raw ideas and esoteric, analog creations with modular vibes and dystopian, ambient dubs. Monument premieres his track "Function Six" from the release "Functional Elements", which will be out on the 27th of January.
