For our twenty second installment we've invited Jorge Fons, a DJ and producer currently based in Utrecht born in Madrid.

With a deep passion for sound exploration, he has crafted a unique style that blends deep, dub, hypnotic, and organic elements, focusing on emotion and immersive experiences.

Starting his journey in Madrid, Jorge has since performed at clubs and events across the Netherlands, connecting with audiences through his storytelling mixes and the energy he creates on the dancefloor.

His releases on labels like Wabi Sabi, Nechto, Out of Place, Subsist, Immaterial Archives and many more, showcase his versatility. 2025 will show more music from Jorge Fons in labels like Aedi Records and a record from his own label Wabi Sabi.

Through his label, Wabi Sabi, Jorge explores the boundaries of electronic music, offering vinyl and digital releases with a warm and immersive sound.

Some words about this mix:
'It was a pleasure to create this mix for Arthur's Hypnosis project, which I believe he's doing an excellent job with, crafting these immersive experiences — like the one you're about to hear.

This mix is made entirely from vinyl and recorded at home, making it ideal for detailed listening. It unfolds slowly and organically, blending a variety of sounds and textures to create a hypnotic and immersive journey for the listener. I’d say it can serve as a mind massage for some, while sparking curiosity and a sense of mystery for others"

Since then, he has become one of 3rd Avenue's most consistent artists, with numerous releases across both the main imprint and its Future Avenue sublabel. His growing reputation has also led to appearances on respected platforms like Nick Warren's The Soundgarden, Juicebox Music, and YOMO Records.
