Akira Toriyama, born on April 5, 1955, is a Japanese manga artist and character designer best known for creating the immensely popular manga series "Dragon Ball"

 "Dragon Ball" began serialization in Weekly Shōnen Jump in 1984 and quickly became a massive hit. The series followed the adventures of Son Goku, a martial artist with superhuman abilities, as he journeyed to find the mystical Dragon Balls. "Dragon Ball" evolved from a primarily comedic adventure series to a more action-packed and epic story, spanning multiple sagas.

"Dragon Ball" became one of the most successful and influential manga series of all time. It spawned multiple anime adaptations, including the widely popular "Dragon Ball Z." Toriyama's character designs, memorable characters, and dynamic action sequences contributed to the series' enduring popularity.

Orchids and Angell is an ongoing and ever-changing musical project that I developed so that I could rotate vocalist (Orchids) through at different times and continue down a single path of discovery with as little friction as possible in the mechanics of getting tracks to our listeners. I am a Composer/Producer/Engineer/Computer Scientist as well as an avid electronic music enthusiast and artist with over 25 years of experience in audio production and sound design. I have been working furiously to find time to foster and regenerate my passion for musical composition, and I think I may have found a path forward. I've had nearly a 16-year break from writing/playing with a lot of life in between (three beautiful girls) and I'm just so grateful that I've found my way back to enjoying my greatest passion once again.
