This episode of 'Ordinary Stories' features 'Patrick'. 
Patrick, at the age of 22, while trying play peacemaker, in a nightclub, in Sydney's Kings Cross, found himself the victim of a one punch attack. 
This "cowards punch" left him fighting for his life, eventually deciding the suicide was the only way he could stop the pain.
Thankfully though, he re-learned how to walk, talk and rebuilt his life. 
In the first of this 2 part series, Pat tells us about his childhood and the events leading up to the night, in a Kings Cross Nightclub, when everything changed.
