Sabled Sun - Signals, is a series of space ambient works that portrays signals that the protagonist from the albums 2145, 2146 and 2147 finds on his journey to find out what happened to humanity after waking up from hibernation deep sleep to an empty world void of human life. As such this is an optional look into what happens in the periphery of the main project of Sabled Sun.

3 veteran producers in the genre, Apocryphos, Kammarheit & Atrium Carceri, collaborate on this behemoth of an album. Each utilizing each others strengths to bring forth a dark and emotional ride through distant memories. 

Onyx is a soundscape journey related to the reflection of dispirited memories and obscure sorrows felt by mankind. With the multitude of techniques used by each artist, it also reflects the rich history of the dark ambient genre and how it has progressed through the decades. 

The signature analogue darkness of gargantuan caves of Kammarheit is combined with the sacral and emotional layering of Apocryphos and the rhytmical bass throbbing and isolated pianos of Atrium Carceri. 

This album was created by cross linking 3 studios in Oregon (US), Pennsylvania (US) and Umeå(Sweden). It took over 3800 lines of studio notes to finalize the album.

Following his EP ’Sun Ghosts’ from a few months ago and debut album ‘Landforms' (2011) is Wolf Maps' second album ‘Purity’. His most personal work to date crafts layers of guitar tape loops into eight tracks of ambient drones, which with an apparent emotional fragility, envelopes the listener in washes of translucent memory and life-weary noise.

As an experienced drone-creator with a large following in the experimental music community, Wolf Maps has reached a new plateau in his work, placing him along side his established peers.

Limited edition: The first 30 copies of ‘Purity’ will be white tapes, the rest will be black. All are hand numbered.

In 2014 Cryo Chamber got some of the most prominent dark ambient artists together to synchronize their studios during a year of collaboration creating the album Cthulhu in tribute to H.P. Lovecraft. With Azathoth Cryo Chamber double the effort with a 2 CD release follow up. No less than 20 artists has been working for the last year to synchronize and co-create Azathoth. Azathoth is a collaboration NOT a compilation. 

Azathoth is an Outer God in the Cthulhu Mythos and Dream Cycle stories of H. P. Lovecraft and other authors. 

Azathoth's precise appearance is only hinted at throughout the Mythos, and indeed may be unknowable by mortal beings. It is described as occupying a position outside of the universe, where it is attended by a cohort of alien servants

KENNETH JAMES GIBSON, one of the most multifaceted artists in electronic music today, enlists for the fourth instalment in our POP AMBIENT artist album series - he's the mastermind behind the Adjunct Audio label and projects as diverse as [a]pendics.shuffle, Eight Frozen Modules, Reverse Commuter, neo-americana duo Bell Gardens (with Stars Of The Lid's Brian McBride) or noise pop band Furry Things. On THE EVENING FALLS, he deviates from his other, more beat-infused work and explores vast aural landscapes with an intricately woven tapestry of swelling string drones, shimmering pedal steel and minimalist piano motives.
The first strictly ambient solo offering from this incredibly versatile composer and musician reveals a delicate sense for rich, ruminant textures and fine-grained synth buzz dispensing organic highs on tracks like opening movement TO SEE YOU DRIFT, the Polaroid-colored LONG GONE CANADIAN SUMMER, the meditative A CONVERSATION BETWEEN FRIENDS or terraforming blues LATERAL DECOMPOSITION. The iridescent quality of these recordings almost appears to be born out of an auditory illusion - with the arrangements seemingly evolving in time lapse and slow motion at the same time.
The natural, wholesome flow of the album certainly finds itself influenced by Gibson's recent move to a 6000 ft. mountain community called Idyllwild. While two of the tracks on THE EVENING FALLS were started in LA about two years ago, for them and others to get fully realized, he needed to transition away from inner city roaming: "my wife and I heard the calling of the mountains for a while - getting deeper into meditation and nature and a slower way of life. There've been beatless tracks on many of my albums, but this is the first full-scale ambient album I've done... I simply needed to find the right focus." The result is a masterful new addition to our growing series of Pop Ambient full-lengths, presenting the fully-formed vision of a veteran producer who never lost his taste for sonic adventure.

Descending from the Toulousian post-hardcore scene, Romain Barbot and Gregory Buffier have produced more than a dozen tormented ambient-drone records under the name Saåad, such as the remarkable Deep Float (Hands In The Dark, 2014). Upon invitation of the local Les Orgues festival, giving them access to the Puget organ located in the Church of Notre-Dame de la Dalbade, they composed an original creation that In Paradisum is proud to publish under the form of the album Verdaillon. 

Through dynamics of elevation, suspension and tension, Saåad’s music reaches altered states. Consisting of thick patches of sound, it gathers powerful harmonies and buries them under samples of the world’s rustling sounds. The sources are rarely identifiable, which makes for the singularity to each record. 

Verdaillon goes against the lyrical outbursts that are familiar to a certain register of ambient music, and towards an extremely rare quality of dynamic and detail. The record’s singular and discreet beauty is due to the organ in all of its most secular aspects, and to a certain « something in the air » of that particular place, on those particular days. The finale of Vorde provides the key to the record: it takes the listeners back to the instrument’s origins, at a time when the spiritual was part of ordinary life.

Hello again. Soon the 7th release of Taphephobia will be out. I ordinary had 12 new songs for that album, but choose to take away 2 songs from the album. One of the track I did a remix of and the track actually was good enough for a compilation after a lot of fixing, the other one that did not make it IS THIS ONE. I feel bad to just leave it on my computer (it is not that bad) and I feel it is not fair to put it on a compilation. So this will only be a online-track. Hope you like it the same.  For me this is an ok track, but I like the heavy vibe,
