After the great success of Solomun’s Love Recycled EP, 2DIY4 is back with the second installment of the series. The `Various Artists’ EP showcases work by fresh talents as well as proven producers. A1 ‘Deep in the Three’ by Thyladomid &amp; Adriatique is a groovy beast with a chunky bass-line, playful organic percussion and Feist’s irresistible vocal. The track has already been receiving great response on the dancefloor. On the Flip ‘Young Girl’ a rework by Peter Kruder, member of the legendary Kruder&amp;Dorfmeister, has a more mysterious vibe. The haunting, stretched vocal is counter-parted by a catchy groove that maintains the drive to the song. B2 ‘No Giggity’ by the young australian producer Gary Todd gets the groove on. Giving a r&amp;b ultra-classic a fresh polish he creates a catchy tool for the dancefloor.

A little over 12 months ago we released Metodi Hristov's "Step Outside". The reactions were immediate and awesome. Support came in from the likes of Seth Troxler, Audiojack, Detroit Swindle, Ramon Tapia, DJ T, Stefano Ritteri and Sidney Charles.

Since then the Bulgarian producer has had an incredible time. He's delivered some heavy-hitters for A-list labels like Deeperfect, Gruuv, Toolroom, OFF Recordings and Joris Voorn's Green label and it seems like hardly a week goes by without a tune of Metodi's popping up in the Beatport charts. 

And with Metodi's new found popularity, people keep discovering this tune (only last week Sankey's Ibiza tweeted about the damage it had done this season and I got an email from an A-list DJ who missed it first time round) so we're re-releasing for the 2015 season and - as well as a new mix from Metodi - we have enlisted two of our favourite producers right now in Olivier Giacomotto and Kevin Over to deliver new versions. 

My favourite thing about these remixes is that they all stick closely to the original: Metodi keeps its dark feel but turbo-charges the baseline to create a real heads-down stomper of a mix, Giacomotto - who is on a hell of a roll himself - creates a full-on jacking treatment for Metodi's odd-ball vocals and piano stabs and Kevin Over opts for a heavy-as-fuck 5am roller. 

Hopefully you'll find these new treatments useful additions to the original, which is included for all those that missed it first time round.

Noir Music has become the full-on techno label with a harder and more edgy sound.
NM2 will be the label which explores the deeper and thinner lines between House, Techno and Leftfield.

I am really proud to present this first DEFINED series release with productions by former Noir Music artists Olivier Giacomotto, John Monkman, Kiko and Jos & Eli whom all now fits the NM2 imprint and have given me the perfect music to help define the sound of NM2 and the difference between my 2 labels.

From the age of 16 he began purchasing his first vinyl records (il disc akis shop & studio 69), then, thanks to his great love for music, he began playing in partys, several bar and clubs in the city of Ioannina, listening to the first acid tracks at the time. At the age of 18, he came to Athens and was introduced to the sound of electronic music through tehcno (FAZ), started playing in several bars and clubs in Athens (loft loft -) and in the islands (pounta beach). In 1994 he took a big step and went abroad, based in Cologne, where he experienced great moments of that time, in various clubs (as index - hipodrome) and stood out for the enviable mixes and his upbeat tempo in his DJ sets. Now, at the age of 44, he's most mature than ever, following the current events of deephouse and techouse music scene, blending with a charismatic way various different styles, escaping the mundane monotony and creating public's commitment to hs DJ sets. He's the owner of SAX BAR in Kifissia, where he organizes several events with domestic and international artists, like Cristo Z, Theo Grooves, JP Rigaud, James Benitez,Orelse,Anna V,Lacious,Kobo ,Eri k,Stratos Pantelis,Arche,Alex P,Sosta, Izhevski Pushkarev,Dio jr,Kondak,Hobby T,GeorgeB, and many many more!!!!!!!!! ..!!!!!!!! Further information can be found on his Facebook page.www.facebook.com/stavros.tsiamakis

In 2007, Orestis showed his true potential, as his ﬁrst release in Musictraxx Recordings reached the 5th position in the top 100 charts.From that point Orelse made his mark and we see his tracks on labels such as Sleazy Deep, Rhythmetic, Baroque Records, White Label and many other worldwide labels. His music is supported by big brand djs, such as, Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Dave Seaman, Paul Oakenfold, EDX, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, just to name a few.

As a dj, Orelse has worked with names such as Dave Seaman, Noir, Quentin Harris, Daniel Bortz, Finnebassen, Kiko Navarro, Edu Imbernon and many many more. His sets are a blend of house, tech house, techno always mixed with tribal elements, disco snaps, vocals... and never fails to entertain with his unique style and sound.

In 2014 he stood out for remixing Manos Hadjidakis - Otan Erxontai Ta Sunnefa which was broadcasted for the 20 years since the death of the world famous composer
