I'm Oreppa Feruzi an up and coming Gospel musician. I was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa into a very musical family so I've been singing for as long as I can remember. 

I have my late maternal grandmother (who was an awesome singer herself) to thank for bringing out my potential in the early days, she encouraged me to sing in church when I was just a little shy 6 year old. She even taught me a few tips and tricks to get over my stage fright, although it still gets the better of me on most performances.

During my teen years and onto my early adulthood I was part of a girl group we founded in church which two of my best friends called  "Tranquil Ascension" which later on evolved into a mixed group called "Qodesh" when the three of us moved to varsity.  It's amazing how much I learned and grew my Qodesh days. God really used us to spread His gospel message far and wide. 

When I got married and moved to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, I pretty much stopped singing. I think it was because I'd been so accustomed to singing with Qodesh that I couldn't imagine singing without them, and in a whole new country no less. I'm very shy.  
But God, through my awesomely loving and patient  husband finally convinced me I could do it . I could sing solo.

And that brings me where I am today. I just want to be an instrument the Lord Jesus can use to spread His message of hope and love through song...
