elcassette is Maria Cincotta on guitar, synthesizer, ukulele and harmonica and Elke Brams on drums, guitar, synthesizer and cayon. Both sing. Their music is an unapologetic combination of indie rock and experimental pop, colliding with electro cataclysms. With songs ranging in subject matter from love and death to nostalgia and domestic violence, the words catch the listener off-guard with brash honesty.
