Transmission incoming from Mr. Incognito's secret lab. Rat Life presents eight psycho acoustic models made by the low key East German producer. You probably never heard of him, but he is doing this thing since half an eternity. Rather than playing a lot of shows he focuses on studying the craft of electronic sound manipulation and what else can be said that: he is on top of his game! He shows us that it is still possible to create sonic structures that are beyond the usual by just using classic devices such as the TR 808 rhythm composer and a TB 303 monophonic synthesizer. Next level funk composing at various tempi!

Mr. Incognito - The Secret Lab (Rat15)

For this @DarkScienceElectro premiere we take a listen to a track from a new various artist compilation on @dionysian-mysteries - The track selected by @DVSNME to premiere is one of the tracks (on the 8 track release) that are available via digital only, whereas the vinyl version features tracks from DJ DISRESPECT , Kovyazin D , Wee DJs , DJ DR-660, and Nastia 6.9

Aquatronics (@user-242546199) is an up-and-coming artist that has chosen to keep their identity hidden for the time being. The track 'Frequency' is a low-key Electro jam remindful of early @BorisDivider on @drivecom - Simple pads seesaw over the track, creating an eerie vibe while the rhythm on the track does all the heavy lifting.

Piska Power plunges us right into modular territory with some heart beating material and thus the tests have come back positive. or negative, which ever way you look at it. 'Eiter Mit Stulle' is a 6 track EP/ Mini LP - A nod to the working class, the ones building our future, for the better. The opening track 'Stulle' simply yet cleverly names all of the main metro station districts of Berlin, underscoring the juxtaposition of most working-class people commuting daily with the homelessness. All walks of life being forced to interact. 'Eiter' and 'Grad III' turn it up and inside out whilst flipping to the B side, 'Eine Man Eine Frau' intro's us to a less club focused remainder of this EP. 'Joyeuse Bureau' is a synth wave post punk masterpiece and lastly apt, 'Strigoi' is about a love that changed the life of a miserable individual.

Tuskegee Music producer D'Marc Cantu teams up with Danny Passarella on Passarella Records for their second collab, entitled 'The Future Has A Silver Lining 2'.

Following on from their previous collab in 2019 on Les Disques De La Mort, Michigan-based artist D'Marc Cantu re-joins forces with London-based producer and Passarella Death Squad's founder Danny Passarella. Passarella Records has previously had the likes of Perc and Oliver Ho both featuring alongside Danny and now sees the regular studio partners collaborate again on their next analogue- driven release.

'Survival' opens with dystopian soundscapes, splashing rides and a broken-beat rhythm before 'Reality' locks in a solid groove with analogue kicks, arpeggiated keys and decaying claps. Next, 'Appearance' energetically canters with layered cymbals, distorted snares and sharp synths until 'Memory' closes proceedings with an evolving bass, subtle drums and a hauntingly atmospheric sound floor.
