BIO

The Q-Continuum are an eclectic funk band from Helsinki, Finland.
Originally an offshoot of the cool & controlled nu-soul group Quintessence, 
Q-continuum started out as a way for the rhythm section to let out some steam, but 
quickly evolved into a sprawling collective of musicians, whose energetic live shows 
could feature anything between 5 and 15 people on stage. Musically they go from
P-Funk to Fela to The Roots to The Rotary Connection and back. Lyrically they come from 
outer space but eventually end up in your bed.
In 2017 they are back with “All Night Long” , their first release since the plan to write an 
opera based on Mika Waltari’s “The Egyptian” fell apart in 2007.
