Premiere: Santi & Tuğçe - The One [Kybele]

In a spontaneous and absolute manner, the sonic encounter between Murillo (mandruvá) and Marina (Selva Leoa) quickly resulted in collaborating and producing a track. Gathering skills, their primordial idea evoked a depth, with almost three minutes, including the melodies of piano, flute, synths, drums and almost all percussion. From then on, there were six months of “ping-pong” and thus, added with new instruments and the main one of the track: the vocals and its lyrics. In this way, the entire work was light and fluid, as the track itself represents, resulting in depth and engagement, dancing and introspection. Both artists already knew each other from other productions or sets, and this made it crystal clear for them to be something irrefutable and easy to partner with. This is a song that questions the speaking mind and embraces the silent soul.

O encontro sonoro entre Murillo (mandruvá) e Marina (Selva Leoa) ocorreu de forma espontânea e absoluta, onde rapidamente se juntaram para produção de uma faixa em colaboração. A ideia primordial evocou uma profundidade, com quase três minutos, incluindo as melodias de piano, flauta, synths, bateria e quase toda percussão. A partir daí, foram seis meses de “ping-pong” e assim, somados com novos instrumentos e o principal da faixa: o vocal e sua letra. Todo o trabalho foi leve e fluido, como representa a própria faixa, resultando em profundidade e envolvimento, dança e introspecção. Ambos artistas já se conheciam de outras produções ou sets, e isso facilitou para que fosse algo irrecusável e de fácil parceria. Esta é uma música que questiona a mente que fala e abraça a alma que cala.

‘Mtsvane’ in Georgian language means Green, the color Green carries the vibration of growth, harmony, new beginnings, health, renewal, harmony, hope, peace, and environment. Exactly one year ago we started our new year with lots of positive intentions, unstoppable musical rituals, love, endless dances, and hugs. At that time we couldn’t possibly imagine any of the outcomes we all are dealing with right now. An idea we are about to share with you has always been there. We have been circling around it, and 2020 made it all more clear it was time for action. It was time to dedicate ourselves to something bigger than all of us, and we choose to do so with what we love. With this movement, we’d like to spread the word into our community that we all are capable of doing more, with what we love. We believe that the only way to say thanks to our Mother Earth, who suffers so much especially last period, who has provided us home for free, trees to lay under, sunshine above us, oceans to swim in, and the moon to guide us at night; is to leave something after us. We will transfer all the revenue for global reforestation. We have teamed up with  a non-profit organization, ‘’One tree planted’’. After collecting the revenue for the planting season,  everyone involved in this project will choose a region and every dollar will plant a tree."

This edit comes from the bottom of my heart and with great humility it is a tribute to the teacher Chinmaya Dunster who I admire a lot since through music he has managed to share his interest in mother nature and her care, something that I personally share a lot .

Forgetting about nature is like forgetting yourself and perhaps we are still in time to remember who is the most important. She has lived for hundreds of centuries so I think we should start listening to her wisdom and stop believing we are bigger than her.

Better, let's share her love.
