Veak goes from strength to strength having topped the Drum and Bass charts already with his trademark Jungle beat-science and Reggae infused tunes aiming straight to the dancefloor and being supported by DJ Hype, Serial Killaz, Drumsound & Bassline Smith, Remarc and Kenny Ken. Hailing from Reims, France, Veak takes you deep into a maze of wild breakbeats and nasty low bass frequencies. The title track “Bringing The Vibe” comes with eerie chords plus legendary Reggae-vocals leading to a huge breakdown which drops into a rattling Amen rinse. The bongo driven stepper “Deliver Dub” brings more ruff and energy for you. Gully Jungle-breaks on a Metalheadz inspired tip combine here with atmospheric pads plus perfect beat-play switching different breaks, fill-ins and basslines. “Execute That” is a pure signature high-octane flow Veak is famous for. Bad-boy vox-snips, a suspensive intro, dark strings and percussive beats execute the tear-out whilst a sinister modulated bassline brings back memories of Dead Dread.

The new-school sound of Kumarachi is one that fans of modern Jungle vibes have been digging on. His remix of “Nothing Stay The Same” by breakthrough producer Conrad Subs explores a broader sound whilst remaining true to Kumarachi trademark rolling Jungle vibes. 

Nottingham based Kumarachi is a master of crafting innovative beats and fresh sounds which at the same time bounce back to the nostalgic and powerful vibes of Jungle, UK Hardcore and Drum and Bass in the 90s. With his brand-new remix the prolific artist returns to Original Key for a stunning masterpiece which combines shuffling Jungle grooves with a Liquid Drum and Bass touch infused by a hypnotizing vocal that encourage you to not give up because “nothing stay the same”. The encouraging and positive vibes are fueled by uplifting chords, big booming basslines and crisp drum beats using the classic “Think” breakbeat for your raving pleasure.

Regardless of whether the DJ and former metal musician, who is very popular not only in the north-west of the UK, lays his producer’s hands on the more minimal or more raw side of Jungle, Kumarachi’s distinctive style of Drum and Bass and nowadays Jungle is immediately noticeable. DJ, producer and label manager Gold Dubs (Born On Road) flexes his distinctive style and skills on the sure shot rewind candidate “New World”. Old school rave strings combine with crunchy drum breaks in the intro which leads to a serious drop into one of the dirtiest basslines of the year accompanied by skippy Jungle beats in the switch. Forget all those bassline tracks with animal names, this one is the real beast which will cause 100% havoc! 


“Lost Translations” is the definition of rolling, funky Drum and Bass with a dark hoovering bassline. A hypnotic synth leads through the mental ride whilst a serious amount of groove will keep you stepping. “Reshape” uses the classic “to shape the future” vocal-sample and FX on a fresh techy roller full of bubbling energy and rolling drum work for the headz. “The Truth” comes ruff and rugged with cutting edge bassline modulations and different Jungle breaks chopped and combined in an inimitable way.
