With a new outstanding EP, Japanese artist @tomoyoshidnb offers a superb rounded packed full of certified smashers for all partisans of true rollers, classic Bristol Jungle and dope JumpUp. You don't want to miss this stellar release that is cleverly rocking the floor and headphones alike.  Inspired by labels like Dope Dragon, Trouble on Vinyl, early V Recordings and True Playaz, Tomoyoshi brings his full spectrum of signature production skills to the game. The title track "Soldier" is a hypnotic, streetwise and dark roll-out with Reggae vocal snips and a kind of Mobb Deep vibe. A nod to Tomoyoshi's classic Bristol Jungle influence, rewind-candidate "Era" pays homage to the legendary sound of Roni Size and crew as Breakbeat Era. "Slater" stays in the Bristol vein adding a mental bouncing bassline, jazzy bells plus FXs creeping deep into the subconscious reminding of some of the best DJ Die releases on V Recordings. No stranger to fusing Asian melodies with contemporary dancefloor needs, Tomoyoshi uses sublime chimes in combination with a beat structure influenced by HipHop, Rock and Drumfunk alike on "Miso". Crispy beats, moody xylophone speckles, famous Jungle breaks in the switch and the distinctive "six million ways to die"-sample make "Bug" another sure shot on this heavy-weight release. "Acid Chill" rounds of the package and does exactly what it says on the tin: Acid squelches ride over percussive patterns, deep bassline-modulations and jazz-infused atmospheres.

Bristol based Invasion returns to Noxious for his debut EP release and it doesn't come much deeper and darker than this. Following his previous track with us, 'Bad Habits', the extraordinarily talented producer has pulled out all the stops with this release.

The Original Key remix saga continues with a funky roll-out by V Recordings' own Sl8r guaranteed to cause damage in any set. Authentically underground sound, reimagined for the new generation, this is future funk on a different level.

The original track by breakthrough producer Conrad Subs with a classic Aphrodite-style Jungle bassline, gets a ground shaking new treatment. Manchester based phunk phenomena and sub-low maestro Sl8r combines his signature funkified groove with HipHop-vocals, hypnotic chords, double-bass, guitar-licks and bongos as the stepping tune develops. Straight up vibes from start to finish, rolling Drum & Bass at its finest.
