Raraku marks a striking debut for the label and the first full-length album from Tāmaki Makaurau based artist Eli Høff.

Steeped in atmosphere, this work is a powerful ritual. Each track moving with the weight of ceremony, part procession, part invocation, drawing the listener through windswept terrain and ancient percussive rites.

Shaped by deep, pulsing rhythms and a whirlpool of psychedelic textures, Raraku is a hypnotic embrace meant to be played loud, with care, surrounded by the canopy of Aotearoa’s forest.

And this release happens to come just in time for its 3 year anniversary (wow, what wild times we had since 2022, right?).

We called for a remix contest, and you responded, and this release is a selection of the best remixes you sent in!

And yeah, when we say "by.. for.. " the overdogs, then with the word "hardcore overdogs" we mean *you*, the crazy gabber hardcore rave whatever fans and supporters! because you rock!

and this is what our mag is about as well. to support the hc scene and its madness.

and maybe this release can play a minor part in this bigger plan...?

on it you will find a lot of styles in the hc spectrum... the focus is on early hardcore and oldschool gabber. but there is also industrial hardcore, doomcore, modern hardcore... millenium, happy hc and speedcore. something for every dog... am i right?
