Breez Evahflowin' is back on the scene and here he teams up with Big Deep of 2 Hungry Bros. to form Deep Breez. This first release reveals their passion for comics and Breez' career in illustration over an energetic Latin-infused Boom Bap beat, while the flip brings you a New York City True School Dream Team of Breez (Stronghold), P.So the Earth Tone King (AOK Collective), Jise One (The Arsonists) and DJ Static over Deep's breakdance-ready production.
Both tracks are part the "Bring Out Your Dead" EP coming out on HiPNOTT Records.

In May of 2016 the creators of SHAOLIN JAZZ traveled to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to collaborate and perform with local Ethio-Jazz and Hip Hop artists at the African Union and US Embassy.  Upon returning they shared their experiences musically with a special SHAOLIN JAZZ L!VE show held at Tropicalia in Washington, DC on June 4th.  It was a high energy fusion of Hip Hop and Ethio-Jazz sounds performed by the Sound of the City Band led by DJ 2-Tone Jones and featuring local Ethiopian American vocalists.  

This EP features selections from that historic night recorded live.  Enjoy.
