Maybe Mother

I started writing this while in a somewhat content state, but as one might expect, certain thoughts start trickling in, and once that’s happened, the floodgates open. In the end state and lyrical writing, I wrote it as a sort of reaction of my feelings going into college. Some of the music classes I’m taking are an actual joke so I’m not sure if this is a right fit for me, some of the musicians in my field are unable to properly function so I’m also wondering if I should be doing something else, just existential stuff like that. There are also hints of past experiences trickled in attempting to show the extent and origin of these problems. Some of those experiences being a little bit of relationship trouble. I moved to Denver, CO from my hometown Bloomington, IN, and about a few days before my departure I was still in a relationship, but in a rash decision, I decided to end it. However a few events leading up to it made it an awful decision on my part and I’m still dealing with its repercussions.
