Recorded in Champaign, Illinois in my apartment in early-EARLY 2022. Lots of writing at the laundromat. I don't want to do too much, but this is it for me. 

After Kenny and I did HARE, I just let it sit. I put up "wade garretts getting old" on my birthday for fun and shit, but... THIS one. These are some of my favorite verses and if you like them, that's a plus, but it puts me back into a place that I can't go back to now. 

For a long time, I was just like, I'm never gonna put it out, I'll just send it to my friends. After revisiting it the past couple of months, though, my 21 or 22 year old brain had a lot of high and not-so-thought-out references, expressions regarding my mental status at the time, fears, hopes, observations, all of it. This made sure that I don't forget any of that time.
