Quarantined in time and space

After a long corona break, I was blessed enough to play before the musical soulmates @caleesi and @sarahkreis at Mystic Creatures' 2nd annivesary in H13.  These two women, as a duo, have been my biggest musical inspiration in the last 3 years. Dancing to their sets has transformed me and made me truly discover and touch new depths of my own being. For this and for all the inspiration so far, I thank you two from the botton of my heart! <3

This timeless memory is too precious to be kept only for myself, so here I share it with you. May you see and feel the resonance (:

As the summer continues we celebrate this week start with another summer refresher, Gin & Juice! It is provided by a mysterious up-and-coming act currently residing in the Swiss Alps, the ռǟʀʀǟȶօʀ օʄ ʍɛʟօɖɨɛֆ, KÖNI!

KÖNI was born in Albania, raised in Italy and currently resides in the land of chocolate. He conquered the scene in a stunningly short time with his eclectic downtempo originals and remixes that are currently out on labels such as Sol Selectas, Mōnada, Kosa, HMWL, akasha MX and many more. We're in particular happy that he also included plenty of upcoming tracks (for example on Wayu, Harabe or Lump Records) in this fantastic sip. Or, how he likes to call it, "Narration"! Enjoy!

Hey everyone, here's my first tune of 2017.

Did this one - using a traditional iranian song - to chill with my friends at the very beginning of Kulkid, 3 years ago, and then completely forgot about it. 

Somehow, a few weeks back, my dad tells me he really loves that one tune from me, listens to it a lot  and asked why I never released it. So I sat down, upgraded it a little bit, and here it is today.

Man O To from the elusive producer NU is finally set to be released as a single on Crosstown Rebels. Since its inclusion on Acid Pauli’s Get Lost Compilation in 2012 the track has clocked up tens of millions of Youtube hits and now heralds in a much coveted artist album due later this year. Remix treatment comes from Parisian producer ​Pépé Bradock and live artist Be Svendsen.

A nomad of modern times, ​NU​ has travelled the continents with his diverse music to unearth his imitable style. Repres​ented heavily in ​Man O To, where instruments amalgamate with electronic production to become solid rhythms. An extra spark come from its lyrics, outtakes from an old Persian poem from the well known poet Rumi, who speaks of true happiness in love here performed by Ghazal Shakeri from an original recording made by renowned French composer Armand Amar.

Julien Auger aka ​Pépé Bradock​ is a widely respected producer best known for his anthemic releases on French label Kif Recordings which are still sampled heavily to this day. As a DJ, he has spun in almost every major club in the world and is known for his versatile, and mesmerising style. Bradock conjures a trippy remix and dub version of ​Man O To and fitting ode to the original.

Be Svendsen​ aka Lasse Bruhn Svendsen broke through into the international scene in 2014 with a series of productions and enchanting live performances at some of the most avant garde places to play on the earth, such as BOOM festival, Fusion, Burning Man, Symbiosis, Rainbow Serpent and AfrikaBurn. ​“‘Man O To’ is a track that has touched th​ e hearts of many, including my own,’ Svendsen explained.​ ‘Being asked to add a new chapter to its story is both an honor and my greatest challenge to date.”

Orly Maya is a South African DJ. She plays deep melodic sets, bringing together organic house, desert tech and electronic grooves, often with strong tribal, classical and world music influences.
