Awakening

Born during the bleakest months of the year in Berlin Ornis was inspired by the musical moments shared by Aude (vocals and lyrical composition) and Amy (violin). Swiftly joined by producer Louis McGuire, a new depth developed within their original tracks, and his energetic dark beats on drums complete their live show. The acclaimed Mitte-based fashion designer Nico Sutor was seduced by the juxtaposition between darkness and light in their sound and created elegant custom-made stage costumes . They released their debut EP ‘Awakening’ via soundcloud in June 2012 and continue to evolve their live show whilst  writing their first full-length studio album.
