As a member of the magnificently named Fatai Rolling-Dollar's, and to give him his full title of the “Chief Commander”, Ebenezer Obey began his career in the juju music of Nigeria back in the 1950s. By the early 60s he'd set up as leader of his own group, here the Inter-Reformers Band, and had begun to record the scores of albums upon which his fame rests today.

'Solution' with its rallying cry of “WAI” (War Against Indiscipline) catches him at the peak of his powers and not long before his effective retirement from juju music to concentrate on gospel.
