Frederick Nietszche was a 19th Century philospher that was much more popular after his death than he was in his lifetime. His legacy appears to be the denial of God and the utter meaningless of existence. Jesus of Nazareth disagrees. We can assume that the Lord and Nietszche are sorting it out right now.

A formless life-force surging through us, a vast power which we can tap-best of all. Dr. Peter Kreeft, Ph.D, professor of Philosophy at Boston College and a prolific writed wrote. "When you think about it logically, there are two and only two philosophies of life. For either there are or there are not doors in the walls of the world. Either there is Nothing or Something outside Plato’s Cave. That sounds very abstract and philosophical. Let me make it very concrete. Two people are walking down a street together. There is an old stone wall on their left, too high to see over. As they approach an intersection, the sidewalk and the wall curve around to their left. As they approach the curve, the first walker is absolutely certain that when they turn the corner they will not see an angel walking through the wall. The second walker is not. Which walker are you? The Ascension - A Door Out Of This World

The Apostle Paul describes his fellow Christians as saints. Christian are all saints because they are set-aside for God. Holiness is not something reserved for the special few, but is the goal for every Christian. As the Catechism of the Catholic Church says: “At the present time some of his disciples are pilgrims on earth. Others have died and are being purified, while still others are in glory, contemplating in full light, God himself triune and one, exactly as he is” (No. 954). Sainthood is our purpose and destiny.

All - Saints - Day

St. Augustine said that in heaven, in the true City of God, “There we shall be still and see, see and love, love and praise. Behold what will be in the end without end! For what else is our end but to reach the kingdom that has no end?”  Christian, remember, the City of God exists in this world in you, but is not of this world. Adjust your expectations accordingly.
