Orquídea. Niche of thorns.
I swear to God or any other divinity that I wanted to talk about Orquídea without having to use at any time , the word "desert". But I think of them , how they are and how they sound, and I can not help but imagine long stretches of sand and rock that end stretching to the horizon ; the sun shining on skulls and bones.
Born in September, 2012, Orquídea have managed to drag as few have done the sound of Tucson, Mojave , Amargosa or any territory ravaged by nature to flowery Mediterranean garden of whom are: Mallorca (Balearic Islands).
They are true survivors. Guitarist, Juanmi Bosch , could rewrite the chronicle of an era after thirty years dedicated to the six strings: founding member of Cerebros Exprimidos , one of the best bands of punk/hardcore that this country would never have so far. If you add Ginés Fernández on drums and J.M. Puigserver “Puter” on bass (both coming from the Underground musical area in Mallorca) they create an electrifying power trio that mix a whole variety of his speech, even they are instrumental music. 
Sometimes they sound like the bastard grandchildren of Blue Cheer, sometimes they get more Punk Attittude, at certain times they climb towards neo-psychedelic lands with some rhythmic and hypnotic landscapes. 
They try not to lose the strength that characterizes them; them and any of those who have finished making the desert a place called home .
