Born and raised in Osaka Japan, Lil found her true love to electronic music back in 2017 and she turned the love for dancing into a passion for music and this is where she started her DJ journey! she truly grasps the crowd around her and uplifts the dancefloor.

In 2020, Lil found her love for Drum n Bass in the Brisbane scene and has now brought that love alive playing phat beats that give energy and power to shake the dance floor! They'll be bass faces a-plenty when Lil yakooz gets on the decks.

"Fractured Realms" continues the world opened in "Shatterfield" pushing deeper into the fractured dimension uncovered through the break.
Across four heavy, glitch-driven tracks, the EP explores unstable rhythms, shattered bass structures, and cold cinematic tension — each piece pulling you further into the depths of the rupture.

The journey closes with Tomorrow’s Shell, a downtempo and ambient-inspired outro that shifts the EP into a completely different emotional space. After the distortion collapses, the fragments settle. A new world forms — fragile, quiet, and strangely peaceful.

Blending dubstep, IDM, experimental bass, electronica, and atmospheric sound design, Fracture Realms is a multidimensional sonic descent into chaos, reconstruction, and the moment after everything breaks.

ORTHENTIX is a multifaceted artist, embracing the titles of music producer, writer, DJ, film producer, blogger, radio presenter and mother. crafts indie electronica inspired by the legion of bass genres. Conceptually, her music delves into introspection, mirroring the intricate human experience. Sonically, she is all about phat basslines and lush melodies with a profound vocal hook. Her latest release, Depthsword, a Drum and Bass dance track with a jungle vibe and an atmosphere of spirituality converging the street, has gained traction with 4K views on YouTube and over 4K streams on Spotify. She released her first single, ‘Kunoichi Spirit', in 2015, which was an empowering song based on the female ninja. This follows her first album ‘Fractured’ in 2017. Fractured explores the notions of the cracks within the human being, and the broken being more beautiful than the complete. Conceptualised from Kintsukuroi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with lacquer mixed with powdered gold. As our dreams and hopes fall from our hands and shatter into a million pieces, how do we find the beauty in the broken? We wind sturdy bandages of golden resin around the cracks in our hearts. In 2019, she released her second album ‘Divine Affliction’, even more dynamic than the first. ‘Divine Affliction’ is a musical expression of the divine feminine and the afflictions she faces. She finds strength in her vulnerability and turns her afflictions into a virtue. The music is a journey through the female experience, describing her many facets, motherhood, diversity, empathy, and divine sexuality. 

Having graced Australian festival stages, including Earth Frequency Festival, Newkind Festival, Nunyarra Cultural Festival, and Deliverance, Orthentix's fierce femme DJ performances captivate audiences, using her platform to showcase many female-produced tracks in her mixes. Female producers make up only 3% of the industry's music producers, so she feels it's essential to bring these songs to the forefront. She is quite the selector, dropping bass-ridden bangers from Dubstep to UKG and Drum and Bass. At times, even performs her self-produced electronic tracks. Orthentix is signed to Matriarch Records and is one of the coordinators and resident DJs/broadcasters of radio show Sista’s of Spin on BayFM - A rotational roster of local female DJs that inspires and challenges society's gendered perspective of DJs and music technology culture. On Louise's shows, she regularly hosts guest female DJs to share her platform, spotlighting other female DJs living in regional areas. She advocates inclusivity and diversity in the music industry and uses her platform to amplify marginalised voices and challenge gender norms.

Orthentix's journey involves pursuing academic studies, bookended with the birth of her two daughters. Her qualifications encompass a Certificate III in Event Management, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, a Diploma in Electronic Music Production, a Bachelor's Degree in Audio Production, and a Master's in Creative Industries.  Orthentix's blend of academia, artistry, and feminism positions her as an influential figure in the music industry.
