We are celebrating our first release of ORTHODOX with I Do Care, a mesmerizing debut by composer, producer and singer Daniella Ljungsberg, a sort of musician whose definition is elusive, but if we had to insist we would simply define her as captivating. 
The same-titled song I Do Care is an intimate invitation into Ljungsber's sonic world of childish nostalgia and ethereal imaginary fantasies.

Daniella Ljungsberg - I Do Care

Black Dog is the first single from Na’ama Zisser’s forthcoming album From Behind the Door.

This track marks a welcoming gesture, drawing listeners into the vulnerable soundscape of the album. Its sonic proximity allows us to feel as if we share the same space, as Zisser reveals the inter-working mechanisms of her music. Creating a contained world that offers a sense of tranquility and safety, yet retains a feeling that something is not quite right.

Na'ama Zisser - Black Dog

Days is the single from the forthcoming album of the same name by Kashaiof. The duo project of interdisciplinary artists Eyal Lally Bitton and Itzik Gil Avizohar, known for their boundary-pushing approach to electro-acoustic composition. 

This track marks an opening chord of their anticipated album, a they grapple with the question of altering the very fabric of reality through the mystic characteristics of sound. Weaving together repetitive post-industrial rhythms, folk chants, pulsating synths, and sound objects, each track unfolds like a process of crystallization, gradually revealing its intricate composition, delivering the duo’s most unique and mature sound to date.

Days - Kashaiof

Babymother, the first single from Wackelkontakt’s forthcoming album Change the Process, is out today!

In one of their studio sessions—obsessed as ever with apocalyptic imagery and new-age trends—they fed a YouTube Kabbalah guru’s talk about the Messiah and the end of days into their speech recognition software. The result? Their own futuristic take on fragmented chatter, giving birth to the ballad of Babymother.

The video for Babymother is an excerpt from a short film—an audiovisual poem accompanying Wackelkontakt’s second LP, Change the Process, which will be co-released on October 25 by JauneOrange & Orthodox. It’s now available for pre-order on both Bandcamp pages.

A song about fleeing from one’s darkest fears only to find them again deeper within the self. The text, featuring abject bodily images, is from the Book of Job, with a self-disgust that ultimately asks: “Why have I not been buried in my mother’s womb?”

Another year, another Valentine’s Day—Ljungsberg returns with Do I Care, a reimagining of her cult album I Do Care (ORTH001). Released exactly one year later, this album doesn’t just revisit its predecessor; it reflects on its emotional and structural foundations while questioning the role of music as an act of care in an uncertain world.

Originally conceived as a way to adapt I Do Care for live performance, the project quickly evolved into a deeper exploration: can a finished work remain open to transformation? Do I Care stretches and blurs the edges between flux, continuity, and reinvention—not a sequel, nor a departure, but a counterpoint embracing process and fluidity.

Ljungsberg’s background in Musique Concrète and electro-acoustic techniques remains central as she reshapes and manipulates her own pre-recorded songs. Fragmented loops weave through the melodies and textures of I Do Care, while her ethereal voice lingers—both grounding and re-evoking her intimate sonic world.

More than a reinterpretation, Do I Care signals a shift—introducing doubt into the emotional and creative process. It is a meditation on transformation, where care and uncertainty coexist, and music remains in a state of becoming.
