Electronic Producer/ Performer ‘Amongst The Pigeons’ is back with a brand new single ‘The Monsters Are Hiding In Plain Sight’.

Sussex based Amongst The Pigeons has teamed up with singer-songwriter and poet Alice Hale (With Sun) on this spoken-word electronica track, taken from the forthcoming EP ‘Why Does It Matter If We Hear Each Other’.

The two met when they played on the same bill at a gig in Summer 2021. After the gig, Daniel asked Alice if she’d like to collaborate – this track is the result. 

It features Amongst The Pigeons trademark beats, bass and synth soundscapes, overlayed with Alice’s spoken voice.

The new EP also features Helefonix, Helen Whale from Lines of Flight and Dirt Lane Cocktail Party.

The single is out on 15 July 2022 on all digital/ streaming platforms via Peace & Feathers. The full EP follows on 29 July 2022.

Storyline : A young man who used to travel around the world now sitting down at home vibin' alone. He used to find peace travelling, meeting up new people, create good conversation with them and learn new stuffs daily but now he's at home thinking minutes-hours of what to do better for livin', survivin'. 

Nimmathi means peace, he used to find peace with mother-nature love such as beautiful sunrise/sunset, fresh morning after rain soil smell, breathe in and out looking at the edge of sea while lil waves touches his feet. Due to pandemic, he couldn't travel anywhere with his friends and family. Feelin' bored-trapped for almost 500 days living his life likka bird in a cage, doesn't make him feel happy. Yet he still findin' for Nimmathi within himself, stayin' safe at home with his family.
